That's a big question. The 80s was THE decade for tag team wrestling. I couldn't even narrow it to ten! If I HAVE to just list three of course I've got The Road Warriors at the top. After that British Bulldogs. In third it's the RockNRollExpressMidnightExpressHartFoundationDemolitionTullyAndArnRockers. That's only three, right? AGREED!!! The only difference for me, I would swap places with the Rock-N-Roll Express and Bulldogs AND throw the Russians in the third mix. Ivan, Nikita and Krusher! |

There is one team missing so far and I am surprised. They are the only tag team to appear in a main event of a Wrestle Mania and never faced defeat. I am of course talking about the team of Hulk Hogan and Mr. T Do you pity the fools who left them off their list? |

1. Arn and Tully 2. Midnight Express 3. Rock & Roll Express which Midnight Express Lane and Eaton or Eaton and Condrey or Condrey and Rose Ideally, I'd like to use one pick to cover all versions, but if you held me down and poked me in the eye until I chose just one, I'd go with Stan and Bobby. |

3. Wild Samoans
I didn't see too much east coast wrestling until TBS went country wide. I only read about those teams.

ok, so the GREATEST tag team of the 80's... 3 choices...
1. The Road Warriors (not really sure there could be much dispute of this, though not my fave of the era)
2. Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen (brief run, but their time in Japan was absolutely dominant)
3. The Wild Samoans
soooooo many great choices, hard to narrow down
