1. The Road Warriors
2. Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard
3. Demolition
It's really hard to narrow it down just to three teams though. The 1980's was arguably the greatest decade ever for tag team wrestling.
Had to go with The Road Warriors at number one due to their dominance over such a long period of time.

That's a big question. The 80s was THE decade for tag team wrestling. I couldn't even narrow it to ten!
If I HAVE to just list three of course I've got The Road Warriors at the top. After that British Bulldogs.
In third it's the RockNRollExpressMidnightExpressHartFoundationDemolitionTullyAndArnRockers.
That's only three, right?

Fabulous Freebirds (I wish I had seen more of them in the 1980s than just the NWA, my area did not have World Class)

But as much as I love the Road Warriors I think your team at the third position should be on top.  |
