Don’t know anything about Bob, but I’ll start researching him tonight.
I thought we were told at Galacticon we would be getting a 4 card set for CaC this quarter???

Are Promoter Prime cards and Main set orders still sipping separately? That may influence if I buy this card now or later since my post office will destroy a single card coming through the mail.

I know he's been signed for years, so I'm glad he's getting his release. I was a HUGE NWA/WCW fan in the 80/90s and have seen hundreds of Bob Cook matches over the years and was always a fan of him. One of the top ten punches in wrestling.
That being said...........
My criteria when it comes to legends is:
1) Sign them
2) Make sure the stats are accurate
3) art
in that order, but thats not Bob Cook. Granted, they couldve asked him what reference pic to use and this is what he suggested, but if you just showed me the face and asked me to guess, i would never come up with Bob Cook.
I know we've had a couple of things redrawn before. Bobby Eaton and Eric the Red come to mind, but I really think this needs a redo. I really do and it takes a lot for me to say that.
Will I still buy it? Absolutely yes! I buy anything Legends, but I'm just throwing it out there.....

Theres tons of his stuff out there. He was a very solid underneath guy with one of the best punches ever...up there with guys like Lawler, Funk, Bobby Eaton. So thats very high praise. |
