I agree with Travis. If you asked me who that is based on the art I'd never guess Bob Cook. Looks more like Scott Norton with someone else's face.
Also agreeing with Grant. I'll get this when I can add it to on order that comes with a handbook so I can get the extra padding that affords because cards in small envelopes do not get to me in the condition in which they were sent.

Of course I don't know him, though probably saw him in WCW & WWF squash matches (?) but didn't know he was a jobber? . Going of cagematch website he lost good majority of his matches. Was also in a tag team The Mighty Yankees?

Definitely an underneath talent. It's been a while since I've watched a match of his so I won't comment on the art but people who draw say it's off so I wouldn't doubt their opinions.
Still glad to get an underneath guy....lets me mix things up more when I need a quick match.

When I saw we were getting Bob Cook I am pretty stoked. Remember him and his run in WCW. As for the art it looks like the main pose was from an image with him masked and just a different face reference. I think the art looks like him just more amped up. Plus I am sure Bob would have to have signed off on the art. I ordered this up along with the Indies Deathmatch set. Gotta have Bob Cook in the mix. Will we be getting Promoter Prime cards alongside this or is that not until December?
Either way looking forward to Bob Cook making his appearance in my fed.

We'll see..things are running a bit behind and there's a lot more coming in Cycle 4 than Cycle 3.
Hopefully it's out by then but December is notorious for slow shipping.

Are Promoter Prime cards and Main set orders still sipping separately? That may influence if I buy this card now or later since my post office will destroy a single card coming through the mail. Yes, they ship separately atleast through the end of the year. Mike I think will Prime after this year is complete. |
