I don't know what I think, being a huge CM Punk fan I get it but also disagree.
I feel like he was trying to be an adult in the room but he was out numbered. I think he was in the right (except for the throwing punches first) BUT he had lost a step and was missing something. Too much rust?

Poor CM Punk. Now he has to go home and spend more time with AJ. Got to feel bad for the guy. At the end of the day both he and AEW will be ok. Sad to see this happen but it is what it is. About the only ones who really lose out are the fans.

It was bound to come. We'll never know the exact circumstances but it's probably best for both.

I always got the impression he was the Terrell Owens of pro wrestling. Certainly a great talent, but always comes off as a bit of a looker room problem.
Maybe Iām wrong, just always got that impression.

He should have been fired a year ago. He was dealt a bad hand in AEW and he played that hand extremely badly. On the bright side, I'm looking forward to getting his game card. š

I'm not a Punk fan, but I also realize it wasn't just him being childish.

I just realized the worst part of this. It puts the kibosh on those AEW Ice Cream bars.

I've been somewhat sympathetic to Punk over the years because, like him, I've frequently had problems with colleagues in the workplace too. Overall I feel like I'm a nice person and easy to get along with BUT I don't take crap from people. I also have no problems calling people out, bosses included, when they act inappropriately or try to give me flack for something that's not my fault.
While I'm sure there's been enough blame to go around in these situations with Punk, and he's not always been in the right, he strikes me as someone who's just standing up for himself when he feels like he's been wronged which I respect and can relate to.

sometimes a person can get into a work situation where it's just not a good fit. But when they have personality clashes everywhere they go, when the work environment is miserable to them everywhere they work, when they find fault with everyone they work with, then there's only one common denominator and the problem is staring back at the person in the mirror. People with that problem seldom recognize that one common denominator in their lives though.
I'm sure with his luck that wherever Punk goes next the coworkers will be awful and childlike, the boss won't do anything right, he'll get into fights to stand up for himself. Then his fans can chant his name at another company that misused and abused Phil Brooks.
