Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Jack Brisco vs. Paul Orndorff for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title. Cornette announces that Big John Studd has left the territory. Ross introduces the first match.
1. The Trooper vs. Pat Patterson
The Trooper and Patterson battle back and forth. Patterson focuses on the Trooper’s legs, wearing him down with two figure fours. Patterson hits the bombs away for the win.
Winner - Pat Patterson by pinfall
Cornette puts over Pat Patterson. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Jim Londos vs. Masa Saito
Saito starts strong but Londos takes control and hits the crotch lift and slam and the fireman’s carry slam. Saito turns things around and hits a Saito Suplex for a two count. Londos battles back and locks on the short arm scissors, wearing Saito down. Londos hoists Saito up in the airplane spin and Saito submits.

Ross says Londos is on his way to the top. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Wilbur Snyder vs. Great Malenko
Great Malenko has the early advantage but Snyder hits a flying head scissors takedown for a two count. Malenko and Snyder grapple back and forth. Malenko puts Snyder on the mat and locks on the Russian Sickle but Snyder escapes the hold. Snyder rebounds and hoists Malenko up in the airplane spin. Malenko submits.
Winner - Wilbur Snyder by submission
Ross says that was a huge win for Snyder. Cornette introduces the next match.
4. Al Snow vs. Dutch Mantell
Mantell goes on the attack at the bell and hits a backbreaker for a two count. Mantell and Snow brawl outside the ring. Mantell hits the double dutch clutch but it’s not enough to put Snow away. Snow makes a comeback and beats Mantell all over the ring area but can’t keep the Dutchman down. Snow smashes Dutch with Head for a two count. Snow hits the Snow Plow for a two count. Dutch and Snow battle back and forth. Dutch hits the Double Dutch Clutch for the win.

Cornette puts over Dutch. Ross introduces the next match.
5. Stanislaus Zbsyzko vs. Fit Finlay
Finlay mauls Zbsyzko before the bell and hits the Tombstone for a quick win.

Ross says Zbsyzko is in a slump recently. Cornette introduces the main event.
6. Brisco Vs. Orndorff - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match
Orndorff and Brisco battle back and forth. Orndorff gets some momentum going and hits the jumping piledriver for a two count. Brisco recovers but eats a boot in the corner and Orndorff covers him for a two count. Orndorff hits a back suplex for a two count. Orndorff hits a second piledriver for the win.
Winner - Paul Orndorff by pinfall. Orndorff is the new Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight champion!
EMTs check on Brisco as Orndorff walks to the back. Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Jim Londos vs. Pat Patterson in the main event.

Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Jim Londos vs. Pat Patterson. Ross announces that Jack Brisco suffered a neck injury last week and will likely be out for the rest of the year. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Ron Hutchison vs. Stanislaus Zbyszko
Zbsyzko manhandles Hutch and locks on the hammerlock. Hutch taps out.
Winner - Stanislaus Zbsyzko by submission
Ross puts over Zbyszko. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Mikey Whipwreck vs. Dutch Mantell
Whipwreck and Mantell trade the advantage back and forth. Mikey gets some momentum and hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Mikey hits the Whipper Snapper for a two count. Mikey hits a tornado DDT and follows it up with a second Whipper Snapper for the win.

The Trooper and The Great Malenko immediately end up outside the ring. The two men battle into the crowd and the referee counts both men out.

4. Jim Londos vs. Pat Patterson
Patterson unloads on Londos in the opening minutes but can’t make much headway. Londos takes control and locks on the grinding armbar. Patterson fights his way to the ropes. Londos hits two fireman’s carry slams. Londos and Patterson battle back and forth. Patterson wears Londos down with an airplane spin. Patterson goes to the top and Londos throws him to the mat. Londos hoists Patterson up in the airplane spin and Patterson submits.

Londos takes a beating but finally makes a comeback and wears Snyder down with the Boston Crab. Londos locks on the standing toehold but Snyder fights his way to the ropes. Londos hits the fireman’s carry slam and covers Snyder for a two count. Londos hits the crotch lift and slam and covers Snyder for the win.

Gilbert is unimpressed with Zoltan’s antics and goes on the attack. Zoltan makes a comeback and drills Gilbert with a foreign object. Zoltan locks on the triangle death grip and Gilbert taps out.

Ross says it doesn’t pay to underestimate Lord Zoltan. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Al Snow vs. Nord the Barbarian
Nord pummels Snow all over the ring. The two men collide in the middle of the ring. Snow recovers first and locks on the dragon sleeper. Nord taps out.

3. Pat Patterson vs Fit Finlay
Patterson unloads on Finlay at the bell but can’t keep him down. Finlay makes a comeback and hits the Tombstone piledriver for a two count. Finlay and Patterson battle back and forth. Orndorff hits a stalling vertical suplex but Londos kicks out at two. Londos makes a comeback and hits a crotch lift and slam. Londos hits two more crotch lift and slams and covers Orndorff for a two count. Londos locks on the Grecian Sleeper Grip and Orndorff taps out.
