2. Bad News Allen vs. Farmer Burns - Ryder Cup 3rd Round
Burns and Allen battle all over the ring area. Burns catches Bad News with a full nelson in the middle of the ring. Bad News taps out.

Bad News drills Burns with a Ghetto Blaster after the match and leaves through the crowd.

Ross and Cornette hype the main event, Farmer Burns vs. Gorilla Monsoon, and introduce the next match.

3. Tommy Gilbert vs. Nikita Koloff
Koloff mauls Gilbert at the bell and hits the Russian Backbreaker for a two count. Gilbert makes a comeback but Nikita shuts him down and locks on a bear hug, wearing him down. Koloff hits the Russian Sickle for the win.

4. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Farmer Burns - Ryder Cup Final
Monsoon throws Burns all over the ring. Burns rebounds and hits the half nelson and slam for a two count. Burns wears Monsoon down with the grinding toehold. Monsoon makes a comeback and hits the body slam toss for a two count. Monsoon hits the Manchurian Landslide but Burns kicks out. Burns makes a comeback and wears Monsoon down with a full nelson. Monsoon turns things around and whips Burns to the buckles. Burns dodges a turnbuckle charge and rolls Monsoon up for a two count. Burns wears Monsoon down with the grinding toehold. Burns locks on the grinding toehold again, punishing Monsoon’s leg. Burns muscles Monsoon up and hits the Iowa Backdrop for the win.

Winner - Farmer Burns by pinfall! Farmer Burns has won the Ryder Cup and will face Jack Brisco next week!

Richards and Stone battle back and forth. Richard nails Stone with the Stevie Kick for the win.

Ross says Richards was impressive in his debut. Cornette introduces the next match.

2. Paul Orndorff vs. The Trooper
Orndorff bulldozes The Trooper and hits an atomic drop for a two count. Orndorff hits a piledriver but The Trooper is able to get his foot on the ropes before the three count. Orndorff hits a second piledriver for the win.

Cornette says Orndorff is climbing back up the ladder. Ross introduces the next match.

3. Jim Londos vs. Lord Zoltan
Zoltan tries sneak attacking Londos at the bell but Londos hits the crotch lift and slam. Londos locks on the standing toehold but Zoltan is able to reach the ropes. Londos locks on the Grecian Sleeper Grip and Zoltan taps out.

Ross says it’s great to see Londos back in action. Cornette introduces the main event.

4. Jack Brisco Vs. Farmer Burns - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match
Brisco and Burns grapple back and forth. Brisco gets the momentum and hits a rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco gets another two count with the lateral guillotine. Brisco locks on the Figure Four and Burns taps out.

Winner - Jack Brisco by submission, his second successful title defense

Fleming dominates the early minutes of the match and locks on the STF but Mantell fights his way out of the hold. Mantell recovers and hits a backbreaker for the three count.

2. Pat Patterson vs. Tommy Gilbert
Patterson takes the fight to Gilbert at the bell and wears him down with an airplane spin and a figure four. Gilbert makes a comeback but Patterson shuts him down and hits the bombs away knee drop for the win.

Cornette says Patterson is tough to beat. Ross introduces the next match.

3. Big John Studd vs. Prince Kharis
Studd and Kharis battle back and forth. Studd hits a clothesline for a two count. Studd hits a double arm suplex for a two count. Studd hoists Kharis up in the backbreaker and the mummy taps out.

Cornette says it might be time for Prince Kharis to return to the land of the dead to recharge. Ross introduces the main event.

4. Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Great Malenko - No DQ
Malenko takes control and hits the Malenko stomp for a two count. Malenko takes Zbyszko to the mat and locks on the Russian Sickle. Zbyszko taps out.

Winner - Great Malenko by submission. The Great Malenko will wrestle Jack Brisco for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title in two weeks.

Rodz gets the early advantage but Zbsyzko rolls him up after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Zbsyzko hits the half nelson and slam for a two count. Zbsyzko hits another half nelson and slam for the win.

Studd and Monsoon battle back and forth. The two men battle outside the ring and exchange brutal chair shots. The referee calls for the bell.

The two men battle until security mobs the ring. Ross and Cornette introduce the main event.

4. Paul Orndorff vs. Pat Patterson
Orndorff and Patterson battle back and forth. Patterson locks on the boston crab, wearing Orndorff down. Patterson hits a scoop slam for a two count and goes to the top rope but Orndorff throws him halfway across the ring and covers him for a two count. Orndorff hits the jumping piledriver but Patterson manages to get a shoulder up before the three count. Orndorff hits a second piledriver but still can’t put Patterson away. Orndorff hits a third piledriver for the win.

Winner - Paul Orndorff by pinfall. Orndorff will compete for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title in three weeks.

Koloff throws Stone all over the ring area but injures his knee in the process. Stone throws Nikita out of the ring and Koloff fails to beat the count.

Finlay and Fleming battle all over the ring area. Finlay gets some momentum going and hits the Tombstone for the win.

Snyder and Dutch grapple back and forth. Snyder catches Dutch with a small package for a two count. Dutch turns things around but Snyder bounces back with a flying tackle for a two count. Snyder wears Dutch down with an airplane spin and clamps on the abdominal stretch. Dutch taps out.

Brisco and Malenko battle back and forth. Malenko hits a body slam for a two count. Malenko chokes Brisco on the ropes, wearing him down. Brisco makes a comeback and hits the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco punishes Malenko and hits another rolling reverse cradle for the win.

4. Big John Studd vs. Gorilla Monsoon - Falls Count Anywhere
Studd and Monsoon battle all over the ring. Monsoon throws Studd out of the ring and slams his head into the ring post. Monsoon and Studd battle all the way to the back. Monsoon power slams Studd on the locker room floor and covers him for a two count. Studd and Gorilla battle back to the ring. Studd hoists Monsoon up in the backbreaker but can’t get Monsoon to submit. Studd hits a double arm suplex for a two count. Monsoon makes a comeback and wears Studd down with the Giant Swing. Gorilla hits the Manchurian Landslide but Studd kicks out. Gorilla throws Studd out of the ring and body slams him on the concrete. Gorilla beats Studd all over the arena. Monsoon hits a backbreaker and covers Studd for the three count.
