Nitro Wrestling 2.26 - Ryder Cup 1st Round
Jim Ross and JIm Cornette welcome the fans to the show. Ross says that Evan Lewis and Brutus Beefcake have left the territory. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Bad News Allen vs. Mikey Whipwreck
Bad News gets on the mic after the bell and says he’ll leave town if Mikey Whipwreck beats him. Mikey is unintimidated and takes the fight to Bad News at the bell. Mikey hits the tornado DDT for a two count. Mikey and Bad News battle outside the ring and Bad News gets the advantage. Bad News hits the Ghetto Blaster but Mikey kicks out. Mikey makes a comeback and hits the Whipper Snapper for the win.

Bad News leaves through the crowd. Cornette says that’s that and introduces the next match.
2. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Ken Shamrock
Monsoon and Shamrock battle back and forth. Shamrock rolls Monsoon up in a small package for a two count. Shamrock locks on the Ankle Lock but Monsoon is able to drag them to the ropes. Shamrock locks on the Ankle Lock a second time and Monsoon taps out.
Winner - Ken Shamrock by submission
Ross says Shamrock has all the momentum in the world after beating one of last year’s finalists. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Pampero Firpo vs. Davey Boy Smith
Firpo gets the early advantage but Davey makes a comeback and hits a running power slam for a two count. Davey goes to the top but Firpo throws him to the mat. Davey makes a comeback and hits a superplex for a two count. Davey hits a gorilla press slam for a two count. Davey hits another gorilla press slam but still can’t put Firpo away. Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show. Ross says that Curt Hennig, Gorilla Monsoon, and Bad News Allen have left the territory. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Greg Valentine vs. Stanislaus Zbyszko
Zbsyzko overwhelms Valentine and the bell and wears him down with a hammerlock.
Zbsyzko hits the half nelson and slam for the win.

Jim Cornette and Jim Ross welcome the fans to the show and go right to the action.
1. Mikey Whipwreck vs. Ken Shamrock
MIkey gets in some offense but Shamrock turns things around and locks on a rolling kneebar. Whipwreck taps out.
Winner - Ken Shamrock by submission
Cornette says Shamrock is his new favorite to win. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Davey Boy Smith vs. Jack Brisco
Davey and Brisco battle back and forth. Brisco gets some momentum going and locks on the figure four but Bulldog escapes the hold. Brisco hits a gut wrench backbreaker for a two count. Brisco locks on the figure four again but Bulldog powers out of the hold. Bulldog makes a comeback and hits a delayed vertical suplex for a two count. Bulldog scoops up Brisco and hits the running power slam for the win.
Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
Brisco gets on the mic after the match and congratulates Davey Boy Smith. He tells the fans he’s leaving the territory for a while. Brisco hands the mic to the announcer and leaves through the crowd. Ross introduces the next match.

Jim Cornette and Jim Ross welcome the fans to the show and go right to the action.
1. Ken Shamrock vs. Davey Boy Smith
Bulldog gets the early advantage and goes to work on Shamrock. Davey hits superplex on Shamrock for a two count. Bulldog hits a running power slam but Shamrock kicks out. Bulldog hits a twisting power slam but Shamrock gets his foot on the ropes. Bulldog hits the running power slam for the win.

1. Konnan vs. Larry Sharpe
Konnan takes over at the bell. Konnan hits the power bomb into jackknife for a two count. Konnan whips Sharpe to the buckles and Sharpe rolls him up for a two count after a missed turnbuckle charge. Konnan bounces back and hits a DDT for the win.
