Jim Ross and Shane Douglas welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Harley Race vs. Pampero Firpo for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title in a no disqualification match. Ross introduces the first match.
1. Andrew Anderson with Nikolai Volkoff vs. Scott Taylor
Anderson tears into Taylor like a wildman at the bell. Anderson hits a double axe handle for a two count. Anderson hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Taylor makes a comeback! Taylor hits a back suplex and covers Anderson but Volkoff jumps up on the apron and distracts the referee. Anderson nails Taylor with a clothesline for a two count. Anderson hits another swinging neckbreaker but Taylor gets his foot on the ropes. Taylor rolls out of the ring right into the arms of Nikolai Volkoff. Volkoff gives Taylor a backbreaker on the concrete. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Scott Taylor by DQ
Volkoff and Anderson beat up Taylor until Hacksaw Jim Duggan makes the save. Douglas introduces the next match.
2. Steve Keirn vs. JJ Dillon
Dillon squashes Keirn before the bell and hits the elbow drop for the win.
Winner - JJ Dillon by pinfall
Douglas says Keirn is floundering so far. Ross introduces the next match.
3. Farmer Burns vs. Les Thatcher
Burns and Thatcher grapple back and forth. Burns hits a half nelson and slam for a two count. Ross mentions that Burns is a two time Ryder Cup winner but he’s never won the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title. Burns wears Thatcher down with a grinding toehold. Thatcher fires back and hits a flying body press for a two count. Thatcher locks on the stump puller but Burns is able to reach the ropes. Burns and Thatcher grapple back and forth. Burns hits the Iowa Backdrop for the win.
Winner - Farmer Burns by pinfall
Douglas and Ross introduce the main event.
4. Harley Race vs. Pampero Firo - No DQ match for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title
Firpo and Race battle back and forth. Firpo gets the advantage and calls for El Garfio but Race rolls out of the ring. Race slams Firpo into the ring steps and throws him back into the ring. Race hits a back suplex for a two count. Race and Firpo duke it out. Race hits a vertical suplex for a two count. Race goes to the top and hits the diving head butt for the win.
Winner - Harley Race by pinfall, his second title defense
Ross and Douglas sign off, telling fans to tune in next week for Nikolai Volkoff and Andrew Anderson vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Scott Taylor in the main event!
