A backdrop sent Taylor back into the ring just before the ten-count from Joey Morella and give the English competitor the count-out after six minutes. Zhukov is not pleased with the official after the bell and the fans boo him out of the ring.*

Loads of history between these two competitors who went after each other with intensity early. Jannetty connected with a superkick for a huge near fall from Dick Worhrle but the action carried on. Rose went after the eyes of his foe earning heat and took over the match with elbows and suplexes. He picked up near falls after a Hit The Jackpot and a vertical suplex. Jim Cornette & Dr. Tom Prichard grab Gordon Solie and demand a rematch. Johnny Mantell arrives and is happy to accept.
PG-13 d. Too Cool
Brian Christopher & Scotty Taylor managed to cut off Wolfie D. for a stretch and unleashed lots of punishment but D. managed to get a shoulder off the mat after a sitout powerbomb from Christopher and a HIP HOP DROP before Dick Woehrle finished his count. A tag to J.C. Ice turned the match and with seconds, Taylor was stunned by a HOOD DROP by PG-13 allowing D. to make the pin while Ice blocked the pin save after 12 minutes. **
Bill Apter hosts the Press Conference with Lou Thesz who is presented with the Legacy Championship Belt but the proceedings are interrupted by Buddy Rogers who shows up and calls awarding Thesz a title a joke and demands that he get an opportunity for the title.
