Card 06: No Limits Wrestling No limits Arena, Philadelphia, PA
Rob Van Dam w/Bill Alfonso d. Jerry Lynn Morgan Dollar got things off to wild start when he bounced Bill Alfonso from ringside before the bell. The decision had no impact on Van Dam who tore apart Lynn from the opening bell and finished it in less than two minutes with a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. DUD
“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert d. Juventud Guerrera James Beard was in charge of the action which did not last long as Gilbert dominated this one from bell to bell including a pair of DDT, a foreign object blow and a HOT SHOT for the win in just two minutes much to the displeasure of the fans. DUD
Justin Credible DQ The Sandman The fans know immediately that this one will not last long when Morgan Dollar tries to offer strict instructions to both men. The action quickly spills to the floor and Credible is busted open from a run into the ring steps. Back on the floor, Sandman hit s a DDT and then back in the ring Credible somehow kicks out after a WHILE RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP. Sandman grabs his SINGAPORE CANE and is disqualified in less than three minutes. *
Shane Douglas w/Francine b. 2 Cold Scorpio The story in this one was Douglas dominating the action but just not finding a way to push Scorpio away. Scorpio kept himself in the match and finally had an opening when he avoided a charge to the corner and picked up a two count from James Beard with a school boy. A Tumbleweed followed and again nearly ended it. That was essentially the end of Scorpio’s offense as Douglas regained control. Scorpio did manage to survive a PITTSBURGE PLUNGE but a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX ended it after 12 minutes. ***
Kurt Angle d. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams Williams showed incredible toughness as Angle used every weapon he had in an effort to get the victory but “Dr. Death” just kept finding ways to stay alive. Williams survived two ANKLE LOCKS, an OLYMPIC SLAM and took multiple German suplexes but refused to stay down. Williams even managed a brief offensive attack himself that resulted in a two count after an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE. The finish came with a final German suplex that actually knocked out Williams after eight minutes. *****
Flying Redheads DQ Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette Red Bastien and Dennis Condrey traded moves after Morgan Dollar kicked Jim Cornette from ringside causing the fans to get all over Cornette. The action spilled outside and Condrey bounced Bastien’s face off the ringside table and Dollar called for the bell in less than two minutes awarded the bout to the Redheads by disqualification! DUD
Jack Brisco d. Bob Backlund- Handshake started the action and Brisco was able to get the early advantage working the lower body and then using back to back FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCKS to do damage but not get the submission. Backlund battled back and it became an exchange of counter after counter under the watch of James Beard. Backlund just could not find a way to get Brisco’s shoulders to the match as the action progressed. Brisco caught Backlund late in the match with a ROLLING REVERSE CRADLE for a big two count and then moments later trapped Backlund in a third FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the win after 17 minutes. *****
The Fabulous Kangaroos w/”Wild” Red Berry d. The Valiant Brothers The fans were happy to see James Beard come out to officiate the final match of the night. Roy Heffernan and “Luscious” Johnny Valiant countered briefly before “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant stepped into the match. The Kangaroos combined for a catapult smash and Valiant fell to the mat for three count out of nowhere after just three minutes (Snake Eyes). DUD

Card 07: Saturday Night Throwback Legacy Studios Gordon Solie welcomes the fans and hypes tonight’s show including the 20 man over the top rope battle royal with the winner claiming the Legacy Television Title. However, our first match is a return bout featuring competitors from Vintage Pro Wrestling.
George Hackenschmidt d. George Tragos [Vintage Charts] Fans who were not accustom to vintage wrestling were treated to a clinic from the opening bell. Tragos shocked Manny by taking control of the action on the mat and never letting up his attack. A double wristlock did some damage. Tragos moved from attacking the upper body to the lower body grinding away on his powerful opponent. Things did not look good for Hackenschmidt when he was knocked to the floor and appeared to strike his head. He managed to beat Morgan Dollar’s ten count back into the ring but Tragos was ready with an ARMLOCK & SCISSORS but somehow Hackenschmidt moved himself to get a rope break. The fans were roaring at his point as Tragos went back on the attack. Hackenschmidt finally had an opening smashed Tragos to the mat with a waistlock suplex. He followed up with a simple hammerlock that was enough to submit the winded Tragos. ****
Gordon Solie is joined by Shane Douglas and his valet Francine at the commentary station and Douglas offers his thoughts on being passed over for the Battle for the Belts tournament in favour of Steve Williams who Douglas calls a disgrace and a loser. Douglas refers to himself as the “Francise” not only of No Limits Wrestling but of the entire Legacy Wrestling Group. Douglas says he will prove it anywhere, anytime. This brings out “Dr. Death” Steve Williams who issues a challenge for the next No Limits event (Card 12) and Douglas accepts!
Rock ‘n’ Roll Express d. Frogman Leblanc & George South The Express dominate this one with their teamwork and put away Leblanc in no time at all with a DOUBLE DROPKICK. DUD
Gordon Solie is joined by the Legacy Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos and their manager “Wild” Red Berry for an interview and they quickly dismiss what the fans have witnessed in the last match stating that no team in Legacy Wrestling is in their league as they proved by winning the title tournament. Solie manages to hype the champion’s upcoming title defences against The Power of Pain (Card 9) and The Valiant Brothers (Card 11) as part of the interview. The Destroyer d. Tom “Rocky” Stone Destroyer came into the ring and made relatively quick work of Stone finishing him off with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK under the watch of Morgan Dollar.
New Legacy World Champion Lou Thesz joins Bill Apter for a “Press Conference” segment and answers all of Apter’s questions including speaking about his upcoming challengers Ivan Koloff (Card 8), Kurt Angle (Card 10) and Rob Van Dam (Card 12). “Rowdy” Roddy Piper stops in with Gordon Solie on the way to the ring as Piper is never at a loss for words. While Piper occupies Solie, Paul Orndoff hits the ring and attacks Nacho Barrera.
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper d. Nacho Barrera Morgan Dollar was quick to send Orndorff the back but Barrera got his attention when he actually kicked out of the cover after an elbow off the second rope. Piper clearly underestimated his opponent who had moments on offense that thrilled the fans. Eventually Piper had had enough and things did no go well for Barrera after that point. The beating was vicious and the match ended with a SLEEPER. Sgt. Slaughter is interviewed by Gordon Solie and talks about his battle with the Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden (Card 5) and promises to finish the Sheik in their rematch (Card 11). Before Slaughter could continue, he was jumped from behind by Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff! Suddenly Hacksaw Jim Duggan arrived with is 2x4 in hand to break things up!
Steve Corino d. Mike Jackson Jackson wrestled an included match control 80% of the action from the opening bell. He scored a series of very near falls from Morgan Dollar after running forearm smashes, flying dropkicks and vertical suplexes. The fans believed that Jackson would not be denied but a mule kick to the groin stopped Jackson’s momentum. Corino then was able to use an electric cord to choke out Jackson on two separate occasions drawing heat from ringside. Jackson survived an OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION giving the fans hope of a comeback but a superkick ended it. *****
Gordon Solie goes over the rules for Battle Royal

Blair and Taylor pick things up and Taylor back drops a charging Blair out of the match in the corner. 2 Cold Scorpio and Adrian Adonis trade moves. Angelo Mosca thrills the fans by smashing Abdullah The Butcher and then using three consecutive SLEEPERS before tossing Butcher to the floor. Evan Lewis lacked the power to get Gorilla Monsoon over the ropes. Jerry Lynn battered Ray Stevens. Lynn then goes after 2 Cold Scorpio. In the battle of the King Kongs, King Kong Bundy muscled Angelo Mosca out of the match. Tully Blanchard and Great Malenko brawl. David Taylor tosses Evan Lewis to the floor. Tully Blanchard outsmarts Jerry Lynn and dumps him to the floor. Don Curtis exchanges with Wilbur Snyder but gets muscled over the ropes. David Taylor dropkicks Gorilla Monsoon in the back spilling him from contention. King Kong Bundy crushes 2 Cold Scorpio with an ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE and Scorpio soon out of the match. The Great Malenko tangles with David Taylor. Manny Fernadez has the fans behind him as he battled King Kong Bundy. Tully Blanchard smashed Ray Stevens with a foreign object and then eliminated him moments late. Wilbur Synder was able to get the upper hand on David Taylor and tossed the Brit from the match. Manny Fernandez catches Wilbur Synder in a sleeper to slow him down and lands a FLYING BURRITO leading to an elimination. Diamond Dallas Page turns thing around against Tully Blanchard. The Great Malenko and Manny Fernandez tear it up. Diamond Dallas Page steps in but Malenko is eventually able to backdrop him to the floor. Malenko continues to impress dumping out Adrian Adonis with a RUSSIAN SICKLE. Tully Blanchard meets the same fate moments later! Manny Fernandez was able The Great Malenko to the floor and got the best of their brawl while King Kong Bundy watched on from the ring. Back inside, Fernandez dumped Malenko out of contention. Fernandez went right after Bundy and then mounted the corner for a deathjump smash. He went back to the top again for a cross body but Bundy countered with a power slam. Tiger Conway Sr. d. Tommy Gilbert Tommy Gilbert was all over Morgan Dollar before the bell getting under the official’s skin. Conway Sr. and Gilbert tangled in the rope and the corner before Conway Sr. scored with a crotch lift and slam. Conway Sr. then trapped Gilbert in an abdominal stretch that did some damage before landing a LET’S TWIST & HEAD BUTT for what appeared to be a quick three count from Dollar after just four minutes. Gilbert was no pleased after the bell particularly with Morgan Dollar. *
“Lightning” Rod Fenton d. Henry Irslinger Irslinger used holds and counters to frustrate Fenton who quickly resorted to rabbit punches and kicks. Irslinger tied up Fenton with toe holds and a headlocks before the action went to the floor where Irslinger realizes he was in the fight for his life and fired back with forearms to match the blows from Fenton. Fenton gained the upper hand and caught Irslinger with a SERIES OF DROPKICKS for the three count from Morgan Dollar after five minutes. *
Johnny Saint DQ. Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre George took significant time “preparing” for action on the floor before the bell and the fans were not impressed. Once the bell sounded George did little to gain back the crowd’s support resulting to slaps and attacking the face and eyes of his opponent. Dick Woehrle issued several warnings and four counts. George used a SPINNING TOE HOLD but Saint was able to escape. At one point, both men tumbled through the ropes and George got the worst of the landing and was nearly counted out. Back in the ring, George continued to use questionable tactics eventually shoving Saint through the ropes to the floor. Woehrle had seen enough and called for the disqualification after ten minutes. * ½
Wilbur Synder d. “Wild” Bull Curry The fans immediately assumed that this would be another disqualification finish with Curry’s reputation for violence but Snyder was able to control his opponent for the most part and keep things in the ring. That is not to say there no craziness. Twice during the match, both competitors tumbled out of the ring. The first time, Curry landed on top on Snyder resulting in a near count-out finish. The second time, Curry took the brunt of the fall and was nearly counted-out himself. Back in the ring, Snyder was able to control and used his ABDOMNIAL STRETCH finisher twice but could not get the win. Curry used a foreign object which earned him significant heat but did not stop Snyder for long who eventually trapped Curry in a third ABDOMINAL STRETCH. Curry refused to submit so Snyder transitioned and pinned Curry to the mat after fourteen minutes. *** ½
Killer Kowalski d. Bobo Brazil The fans were solidly behind Brazil and responded with heat as Kowalski jumped Brazil before Gary Michael Cappetta had finished the introductions. Any advantage was short lived and Brazil soon was in control and unleashed back to back COCO BUTTS. Kowalski kicked out of both covers before Morgan Dollar counted three. Kowalski then brawled his way out of bear hug and again kicked out of back to back COCO BUTTS. The fans were wild as Brazil searched for away to put away Kowalski. Kowalski managed to cause both men to tumble from the ring. Kowalski was able to land on top of Brazil who crashed hard to the floor. Brazil could barely regain the ring and then followed up with a Bombs Away for the three count after seven minutes. *****
Ken Shamrock d. George Hackenschmidt Shamrock went on the offensive right after Dick Woehrle called for the bell and targeted the lower extremity of his opponent in an effort to neutralize any power advantage. It worked to perfection as Hackenschmidt had to grab the ropes to escape an ANKLE LOCK. Shamrock went back to a knee bar and then a second ANKLE LOCK to get the submission in just over two minutes! *
Jack Brisco & Jerry Brisco d. Legacy Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Kangaroos w/”Wild” Red Berry in a non-title match The fans were all over Berry and the champions from the moment they entered the arena. The Brisco Brother made frequent tags and managed to keep Al Costello in the ring early on. The Kangaroos came back and caught Jack Brisco with a catapult smash. The champions also managed to cut off Jerry Brisco for a stretch but they did not get close to victory tonight. The Brisco displayed their scientific skills and counter wrestling to near perfection until the teamed up for a double tackle the dropped Roy Heffernan to the mat for the three count after nineteen minutes. ***
Ivan Koloff w/Captain Lou Albano d. Legacy World Champion Lou Thesz to win the title Thesz looked like he many make short work of Koloff as he used a perfect scientific attack to get control right after Morgan Dollar called for the bell. Koloff had to kick out after dropkicks sent him to the mat and again after a THESZ PRESS. Koloff was able to get the action to the floor and got the best the champion. A TOP ROPE KNEE DROP followed but Thesz kicked out of the cover. Thesz drew on the fans support and regained control of the action but was not able to get Koloff in a position to finish him off. Koloff was able to use his power as the action carried on to start to wear down Thesz including kicks and slams to the mat. A running splash did damage and Koloff then took flight again with a TOP ROPE KNEE DROP to claim the title after 16 minutes. The fans in Chicago were stunned! ****
Another historic night at the International Amphitheatre as we have new Legacy World Champion in Ivan Koloff after our main event. Card 09: Atlantic Pro Wrestling The Omni, Atlanta, GA
Big Bully Busick d. Ranger Ross Busick was able to get the upper hand with his power early on but could not get the submission from his STUMP PULLER. The fans rallied behind Ross and he responded with an impressive comeback getting a near fall after a vertical suplex and after a deathjump cross body block. It was back and forth late in the match when Busick connected with a power slam and it was enough to get the three count from Morgan Dollar after eight minutes of action. **
Chaz Taylor DQ Frank Dalton The fans were all over Dalton early in the one when he smashed Taylor with a boot not once, but twice. Taylor came back and picked up a near fall after a deathjump cross body black. Dalton then drew more heat but repeatedly bailing to the floor and eventually Taylor followed him out. Dalton then blasted Taylor with the chair and that was enough for Dick Woehrle who called for the disqualification after seven minutes. *
David Taylor d. Mark Fleming The match began with a stalemate of counters after Morgan Dollar called for the bell. Fleming began to press the attack and found success with a series of suplexes that scored multiple near falls on Taylor. Barry Windham d. Rick Rude It was obvious after Morgan Dollar called for the bell that these two knew each other well as the action was back forth at a quick pace. Rude ducked away from a dropkick and then hit a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Windham rebounded quickly catching Rude with a powerslam for a two count of his own. Windham followed with a second power slam taking over the match. Rude managed to kick out after an impressive looking LARIAT but Windham followed immediately with a SWEETWATER SUPLEX and the back to back finishers was enough to Windham the win after six minutes. **
Blackjack Mulligan d. Abdullah The Butcher The fans expected this one to be violent and they did not have to wait long before Butcher posted Mulligan and busted him open. Butcher attacked the cut and Mulligan was quickly a bloody mess. However, Mulligan managed to come back and downed Butcher with a lariat for a two count from Joey Marella. Butcher made the ropes to escape the BLACKJACK CLAW which busted Butcher open as well. Mulligan was in control and a back elbow ram dropped the Butcher and allowed Mulligan to connect with another lariat for the three count after six minutes. ** ½
Midnight Express w/Jim Cornette d. Rock ‘n’ Roll Express The Express were all over Gary Michael Cappetta before the bell but Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson stormed the ring and saved Cappetta from harm. Bobby Eaton was cut off from his corner and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express hit their DOUBLE DROPKICK finisher. Condrey was blocked from making the save but Cornette was able to distract Joey Marella without too much difficulty. Moments later, Eaton was able to reverse a whip on the floor and Morton went hard into the ring post. A bloody Morton was tossed back into the ring. Condrey executed a backbreak and then was joined by Eaton for a SUPLEX ONTO PARTNER’S KNEE for the three count after six minutes. ***
Buddy Rogers d. Magnum T.A. The fans are behind Allen as the action gets under way but Rogers gains the early advantage with a piledriver that stuns Allen. Rogers goes to work with dropkicks and the targets the lower body with a jump knee smash to the leg. Rogers then applies a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and James Beard calls for the bell after only two minutes. DUD
Legacy Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Kangaroos w/”Wild” Red Berry d. Powers of Pain w/Mr. Fuji Before all was said and done, there was some wild moments in this match. Both sides made frequent tags early and could not gain an advantage. Eventually, the double teaming of the champions began to take a toll on the challengers. First Barbarian was cut off from his corner and a pin save was needed to keep the action going after a BOOMERANG from the Champions. Then Warlord took an incredible amount of punishment and this time the distraction of Mr. Fuji allowed the match to continue after it appeared Warlord was finished with Roy Heffernan’s STEPOVER TOEHOLD. The Kangaroos hit Warlord with a BOOMERANG and appeared to have won the match but Fuji somehow managed to ring the bell himself causing confusion. In the chaos, the Powers of Pain crushed Heffernan with a POWER HEAD BUTT. Heffernan managed to kick out of the count from James Beard. That was the final moment for the challengers who prolonged the match with quick tags in and out before Al Costello finished the match after twenty-two minutes with an AUSTRALIAN BACKDROP to Warlord. *****

Up next, Central American Pro Wrestling will present a card from the St. Paul Civic Center in St. Paul Minnesota with the following matches already signed:
* Adrian Adonis made use a chair last time he faced Diamond Dallas Page after Page had proved a challenge for Adonis to defeat. Page was not pleased and has demanded a return match with Adonis. The match has been signed and should be an intense battle. * In a strong style showcase, Japanese competitor Masa Saito will take on The Destroyer, who while American, has extensive experience competing in Japan himself. * In a match that is just as likely to take place in a barroom as a wrestling ring, The Crusher steps into the ring with Terry Gordy. * Johnny Mantell took King Kong Bundy to the limit back on Card 04 only to end up on the losing end of a controversial disqualification. Since that time, Bundy has captured the Legacy Television Championship. Mantell was been requesting another chance to get into the ring with Bundy and promoters has signed the return match for Card 10. This will be a non-title match but a victory over Bundy in St. Paul will no doubt move Mantell close to the top of the contenders list for Television Title.
* Bobby “The Brain” Heenan will lead his team of Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens into action as they tangle with a duo they know all to well, the father and son team of Larry Hennig & Curt Hennig, the Double Axe Attack. Insiders are speculating that the winner of this match will likely receive a shot at the Legacy Tag Team Championship in the near future. * In the main event, new Legacy World Champion Ivan Koloff will make his initial title defense against the individual who finished runner up in the Battle for the Belts tournament, Kurt Angle. Angle has held gold everywhere he had completed and will be looking to capture more on the next card. Card 10: Central American Pro Wrestling St. Paul Civic Center, St. Paul, Minnesota
The Tropper d. “Pretty Boy” Doug Somers Tropper looked very impressive early on with a mix of power and skill that kept Somers on the defensive. Somers kicked out after an Alabama Slam and later escaped THE BIG PINCH. Somers made a comeback and nearly took the win after a gut wrench stomachbreaker that resulted in a two count from Joey Marella and later after a SOMER SUPLEX that Tropper just kicked out after. Tropper came back when he countered a charge in the corner with a clothesline. Somers was rocked by a standing dropkick and pair of press slams before THE BIG PINCH finished it after 8 minutes. ** ½
Flying Redheads DQ Long Riders Both teams made quick tags after James Beard called for the bell with no clear advantage. The Irwins were able to cut off Red Bastien from his corner and they went to work. Twice “Wild” Bill Irwin connected with a FLOAT KICK but could not keep Bastien down for the three count. Scott “Hog” Irwin took his shot at getting the win with a SUPERPLEX. Billy Red Lyons was cut of from making the save but Bastien somehow got his shoulder up at the last second. The fans were on fire and “Hog” Irwin had had enough and struck with a steel toe boot. Even James Beard would not stand for the infraction after it busted Bastien wide open and called for the bell after seven minutes. ** ½ Diamond Dallas Page d. Adrian Adonis Page had the advantage early but Adonis bounced Page’s skull off the ringside table and went to work. Adonis looked to be in control until a gut wrench backbreaker attempt was countered with a DIAMOND CUTTER out of nowhere. James Beard only made a two and half count but it was enough to get the crowd and Page back into the match. Page followed with a Diamond Dream, jaw breaker, discus clothesline and then a second DIAMOND CUTTER for the win after three minutes. * ½
Legacy Television Champion King Kong Bundy w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan d. Johnny Mantell – Non Title Match Joey Marella had his hand full from outset of this one as both men seemed more intent on punishing each other rather than going for any type of victory. Mantell took control keeping Bundy grounded on the mat. Things turned when Mantell went into the ring post and was busted open. Bundy then pounded Mantell in a bloody mess before Mantell was able to turn things around bouncing Bundy’s face off the ringside table busting him open. Both men were wearing the crimson mask when the first pin attempt occurred after a Bundy body slam. It was back and forth but Bundy crushed Mantell with an ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE. MANTELL KICKED OUT! Heenan could not believe it but Bundy still had enough left continue his attack and he was rewarded with victory after a backbreaker. *** ½
Masa Saito DQ The Destroyer Destroyer took control of this one with handstand knee drops and leg scissors. Saito took a breather and Destroyer followed his opponent outside deciding to crack him across the back with a chair! Morgan Dollar quickly made the disqualification call after just over two minutes of action. DUD
The Crusher DQ Terry Gordy The brawling and exchanges in this match were exquisite from the open bell as both men left it all in the ring. Neither competitor could get the upper hand until finally Gordy stepped up his attack with a back suplex and lariat that rocked the fans. Crusher simply kept coming however with elbows and stomps of his own. A body slam gave Crusher the only two count of the encounter from Morgan Dollar before the action spilled outside. Gordy then slammed Crusher onto the ringside table smashing it half. With the fans roaring, Dollar called for the bell after just six minutes. **
The Double Axe Attacked d. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan The exchanges between Curt Hennig and Bockwinkel early on had the fans interested in a singles encounter down the road between the two competitors. Both sides were able to showcase timely tags to keep the momentum fluid. Stevens found himself in some trouble against Curt Henning who went to work including catching him with The Axe. Larry Hennig tagged in and landed several double forearm hammers and a body slam before connecting with THE AXE for the three count from Morgan Dollar leaving many at ringside wondering why Bockwinkel did not attempt a pin save after 7 minutes. **
Kurt Angle d. Legacy World Champion Ivan Koloff w/Captain Lou Albano to win the title Koloff and Angle traded moves back and forth early before Angle simply took over the contest with a German Suplex that crushed the champion into the mat. Koloff proved incredible difficult to put away kicking out after an overhead belly to belly and two OLYMPIC SLAMS. Albano could not distract Angle during an ANKLE LOCK but Koloff made the ropes. Albano was able put Koloff’s foot on the ropes after an OLYMPIC SLAM to keep the action going. Card 11: North East Championship Wrestling Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
Don Curtis d. “Iron” Mike McCord w/Jimmy Hart McCord and Hart were out to great heat and they immediately started to intimidate Morgan Dollar before the bell. McCord dominated with his power but was not able to put away Curtis before he found an opening to counter attack and lock in a SLEEPER. Hart jumped onto the apron and there as a scramble for Hart’s megaphone which fell into the ring. McCord was there first and dropped Curtis with a smash to the back of the head. McCord continued to dominate but Curtis came back and locked in another SLEEPER. McCord made the ropes but Curtis stayed on the offense catching his opponent with a deathjump cross body block for the three count after 12 minutes. ***
The Dream Team w/Jimmy Hart d. The James Gang Kip James and B.G. James managed to cut off Brutus Beefcake for a stretch early on after crushing him with a spike piledriver. Beefcake took a vicious beating but the James Gang could not get the victory before the tag was made to Greg Valentine who took control against Kip James working the lower body. Valentine was not successful in getting any pin attempts however and Kip James popped the fans ducking under a double clothesline and then taking out both members of the Dream Team with a double clothesline of his own the rebound. The James Gang teamed up for another spile piledriver to Beefcake but Beefcake was able to get the tag out to Valentine late in the match. Valentine wasted little time and trapped B.G. James in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the submission after 9 minutes. ** ½
Angelo “King Kong” Mosca d. Ric Mccord This was a classic battle of the brawler against the high flyer and the brawler was dominate early on. Mccord had the fans behind him and mounted an impressive comeback that started with flying dropkicks that spilled Mosca to the floor. As long as Mccord kept moving he was successful but when Mosca was able to catch his opponent the impact was significant. Mosca eventually used a series of elbow smashes to the face with the final one being enough to get the three count from Joey Maretta after 8 minutes. **
George “The Animal” Steele d. Eric The Red With these two competitors in the ring, no one knew what to expect. Steele chased Morgan Dollar before the bell but once things calmed down Steele dominated the match and sent Red into the corner with a headlock turnbuckle ram it is was enough for the three count in less than one minute! DUD
Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter d. Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff The fans were electric for this one. Every blow Slaughter and Duggan landed just built the excitement at ringside. Sheik was nearly counted out after eating the ring post and was rendered a bloody mess. Volkoff lead his team back busting open first Duggan and then later Slaughter during brawls on the floor. It was back and forth brawling in and out of the ring with Joey Marella letting thing go. The finish came when Duggan took control against Sheik including a spinning body slam and Tough Guy clothesline. Duggan trapped Sheik in a bear bug and it was enough to drop Sheik to the mat for the three count after 23 minutes. ****
Hillbilly Jim d. Gorilla Monsoon The fans were solidly behind Jim after Morgan Dollar called for the bell but the popular competitor from Mud Lick struggled with his larger foe. Monsoon tossed Jim around the ring but Jim proved difficult to put away as he managed to kick out after a MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE twice! Jim mounted a comeback and the fans were roaring as punished Monsoon with punches and forearms. Monsoon did not go down easily kicking out after a leg drop, scoop slam and after a big boot to face. Monsoon executed a giant swing that had the fans out of their seats and ringside exploded with Jim kicked out after another MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE. Jim finally managed to lock in a BEAR HUG but Monsoon had enough left to escape. Jim followed with a big boo to face and that was enough for the three count (Snake Eyes!) after 11 minutes. Monsoon attacked Jim after the bell and crushed him with two more MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDES. Officials need to assist Jim to the back ***** Paul Orndorff & “Rowdy” Roddy Piper DQ Ilio DiPaolo & Antonino Rocca Orndorff had control early against DiPaolo before both sides were able to make tags. Piper took Rocca to the floor and attempted to smash the popular Argentinian with a chair but Rocca was too quick taking control of the chair and smashing Piper! The fans may have loved it, but referee Morgan Dollar did not and called for the disqualification after just three minutes! Both teams brawled after the match before Piper & Orndorff retreated to the back with a controversial victory. *
Legacy Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos w/”Wild” Red Berry d. The Valiant Brothers “Luscious” Johnny Valiant took the fight to Roy Heffernan early including a jumping stomp for a two count from Joey Marella in the opening minute of action. A double buckle whip from the Valiant Brothers did more damage but Al Costello was able to turn the tide when he stepped into the ring slowing things down with a sleeperhold on “Handsome” Jimmy. Heffernan joined his partner for a BOOMERANG to retain the titles after 6 minutes with pin save by Johnny Valiant blocked. The Champions pose for Dr. Mike Lano with the titles after the bell.* ½
Another wild night in New York that saw Hillbilly Jim injured for two cards in a post match attack by Gorilla Monsoon. No doubt that Hillbilly Jim will be looking for some payback once he is recovered. Another feud that is growing in intensity is the team of Sgt. Slaughter & Hacksaw Duggan and the combination of Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff. After a bloody and violent encounter tonight, fans will be ready to see the two sides battled it again in the future in singles or tag team action. Speaking of tag teams, Ilio DiPaolo and Antonino Rocca were anything but impressed after their loss tonight and are looking to get back into the ring with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. George Steele… title contender??? You never know what will happen at the Garden.
Top 10 1. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper 2. Paul Orndorff 3. George “The Animal” Steele 4. Sgt. Slaughter 5. Don Curtis 6. Angelo Mosca 7. Hillbilly Jim 8. Iron Sheik 9. Bob Backlund 10. “Iron” Mike McCord
Up next, Legacy Wrestling returns to the No-Limits Arena in Philadelphia for night of No Limits Wrestling with a Legacy World Title Match toping the card. Matches already signed include the following:
* Shane Douglas had a lot to say on the last Saturday Night Throwback show particularly about “Dr. Death” Steve Williams and now he will have to back up his words when the two step into the ring. Will Douglas prove that he was passed over for spot in the Battle for the Belts event or will “Dr. Death” be able to silence the always opinionated “Franchise” of No-Limits Wrestling?
*The Love Brothers will be in action in the City of Brotherly Love when Reginald and Hartford Love face a team with experience together in the Pacific North West, Jimmy Snuka & Dutch Savage.
* No one was surprized when the fight between Justin Credible & The Sandman ended in a disqualification back on Card 6 so it was also no surprize that a rematch was booked between the two and this time no one will be disqualified for using a Singapore Cane since they will be legal. Sandman v. Credible… Singapore Cane Match!
* A couple of competitors who know something about brawling and winning gold will square off as Steve Corino has signed to meet Dirty White Boy in singles action
* In what could be a chaotic battle from start to finish, the Pit Bulls will be looking to secure a feature shot at the Tag Team Titles when the take on the crazed tandem from New Zealand, The Sheepherders! * New Legacy World Champion Kurt Angle will step into the ring with a competitor calling himself “Mr. No-Limits” Rob Van Dam to defend his title for the first time. The match on paper is an interesting contrast of styles that could produce a five star match. Don’t forget, Van Dam will have manager Bill Alfonso in his corner

A DDT onto a chair really did some damage and Sandman capitalized moments later with WHITE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP after 8 minutes. ***
The Love Brothers d. Dutch Savage & Jimmy Snuka Snuka looked impressive early on against “Rotten” Reginald Love but a brawl on the floor saw the Superfly rammed into the ringside table. The Love Brothers took over from that point never allowing Snuka to tag out. Snuka survived a NECKBREAKER, ATOMIC DROP and double backbreaker before a DOUBLE HOT SHOT ended it after eight minutes. * ½
Steve Corino d. Dirty White Boy This was a wild match that saw Dirty White Boy busted open early after a chair shot from Corino. Pitbulls The Pitbulls took the early advantage but Pitbull #1 could only get a two count on Luke Williams with a running power slam before a key defensive tag turned the momentum of the match. Pitbull #2 was trapped in the ring and Pitbull #1 made a pin save after a DOUBLE GUTBUSTER. The Sheepherders hit their double team finisher immediately again and this time the save was blocked. Morgan Dollar only made it to two and half but the Sheepherders did get the three count with a double clothesline after seven minutes. ** ½
Shane Douglas w/Francine DQ “Dr. Death” Steve Williams This was a strong style battle from start to finish with both men pulling out all the stops. Douglas dominated long stretches of the action including downing Williams with lariats that had the fans roaring. Williams kicked out after two BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES and just got his shoulder up later on when Douglas hit the PITSBURGH PLUNGE. Williams came back and gained a near fall of his own from Morgan Dollar after a press slam. The action spilled to the floor. Williams slammed Douglas through the ringside table and Morgan Dollar had no choice other than to call for the disqualification after 16 minutes. ****
Rob Van Dam w/Bill Alfonso d. Legacy World Champion Kurt Angle to win the title Morgan Dollar causes an uproar when he bounces Alfonso to the back. Van Dam is off his game and Angle takes full advantage catching his challenger with a German Suplex for a two and half count. Van Dam slowly regains his senses and then takes over the match with a series of moonsaults and a leg drop across the rails. Angle had no answers and Van Dam comes off the top with a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH but Angle kicked out at the last possible second. The crowd was roaring as Van Dam climbs again for back for another FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH to win the gold after just five minutes. ***

Some of the fans remark that referee Dick Woehrle was quick to make the call to end the match after seven minutes. **
Legacy World Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Kangaroos with their Manager “Wild” Red Berry are interviewed by Bill Apter on the “Press Conference” segment and Apter manages to hype the champion’s upcoming title defenses against The Brisco Brothers (Card 14), Double Axe Attack (Card 16) and Sheepherders (Card 18). The Kangaroos mock the Legacy World Title holders and their inability to defend their title even calling them losers. Security arrives for the pull apart.
“Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez DQ Legacy Television Champion King Kong Bundy w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. Fernandez went right after the champion after Joey Marella called for the bell but Bundy used his size to negate the attack. A series of bear hugs slowed down Fernandez but when the action spilled to the floor, Fernandez reversed a whip and Bundy went hard into the ring post. Fernandez was on fire as he attacked his bloodied opponent but could not in a position to go for the win before Bundy rolled to the floor. Fernandez followed and Bundy dropped him with the title belt! Marella called for the bell after six minutes! A wild finish to tonight’s Throwback episode with the “Raging Bull” leaving the studio with the win but without the title. Everyone will be awaiting to see what decision Legacy Wrestling Management comes to concerning the Legacy Television Title and the issues between King Kong Bundy & Manny Fernandez. It has been confirmed that an All-Star Dream Tag Team Match for the next Throwback show has been signed as Lou Thesz will team with Kurt Angle to take on the current Legacy Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos in a Non-Title encounter!
Up next, Vintage Pro Wrestling presented a card from the International Amphitheatre featuring the following bouts: * Tiger Conway Sr. will be part of the undercard in Chicago and will step into the ring with Lou Albano

The two will once again meet in the ring with Saint looking to finally put George in his place. * In what many are calling a Hoss Fight, Bobo Brazil will bring his unique style and popularity to the ring when he takes on one of Europe’s top wrestlers, George Hackenschmidt in what should be an interesting clash in styles. * To determine the next contender for the Legacy World Title, Vintage Pro Wrestling promotors has signed a match between ultimate fighter Ken Shamrock and the ruthless Killer Kowalski with the winner going onto face the Legacy World Champion on Card 20
* At the last event in Chicago, Ivan Koloff stunned the wresting community by taking the Legacy World Title from Lou Thesz. Koloff no longer has the gold but remains a dangerous contender. Standing in his path towards another title opportunity is Wilber Synder. It should be a great encounter of power and brutality vs. size and skill
* The Brisco Brothers managed to score an impressive non-title victory of the Legacy Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Kangaroos at the last card at the Amphitheatre and as a result they have earned an opportunity at the titles. Will the Kangaroos find a way to turn back the challenge of the Brisco Brothers or will the popular Jack and Jerry Brisco make it two in a row over the champions and leave Chicago with the gold?
