I'm wanting to do some MMA boots. But I am still fairly new to the sport. Is there a site that lists MMA moves to help with the card creation?
Thanks Rick T.

Yeah there is no real "List" of MMA moves, unlike prowrestling. This is because of the different styles and backgrounds of the fighters. Even people who train strickly MMA, for MMA, will still incorporate elements of boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, grappling (mainly jui jitsu). That right there are four specific arts, each with many, many useful things to incorporate and use.
The grappling arts have an easier time with finding move lists. You can find names for throws and submissions easily enough. Being sure they will accurately fit in an MMA environment, well, that is something else (some like Obi otoshi "Belt drop", a throw execute while breaking the opponents balance and the finishing with a belt grab and lift and drop; or okuri eri jime, 'sliding lapel choke' where the lapels of the clothing (gi) are used to execute the strangle, will not make much sense un less both parties are wearing clothing.)
Strikes are a little more basic: a handful of kicks, a handful of punches, knees and elbow strikes. Combos are the way to vary things.
The one thing I would say for card creation, and what I mainly consider with throws and takedowns is: does this throw have a high potential for a KO? So, A double leg takedown? Sure that can have a high potential, especially if the opponent is hoisted off the ground and dropped. A foot seep or little trip? Probably not, unless something really freaky happens.
Of course, there are many, many ways to interpret and execute any move.

Another suggestion would be to go to a library or bookstore and find a book about MMA training. There are a lot of books that cover a lot of different styles. Fun and educational!

This is a very cool site, especially since it accurately shows that Sexiyama beat Belcher!

This is a very cool site, especially since it accurately shows that Sexiyama beat Belcher! Are you suggesting that an MMA judge might ever incorrectly score a round? Scandalous!

This is a very cool site, especially since it accurately shows that Sexiyama beat Belcher! Are you suggesting that an MMA judge might ever incorrectly score a round? Scandalous! Of course! It's not some boneheaded computer program that one could correctly and accurately algorithmically code so it actually represents a lucid and accurate view of what actually happended in a given round.
