I say DEE-MOSE. Is that right or wrong?
I also say TONT-OSE and thought that was correct until I went to Galacticon in 2004 and learned it was THAN-TOSE. Oh well, LOL.

Dee-mose was how I pronounced it but apparently, it is pronounced die-mas.

Dee-mose was how I pronounced it but apparently, it is pronounced die-mas. 'fear' pronounced [dêːmos]) is the personification of fear. He is the son of Ares and Aphrodite, and the brother of Phobos. Deimos served to represent the feelings of dread and terror that befell those before a battle, while Phobos personified feelings of fear and panic in the midst of battle. Deimos.

Look to Latin for all of those "Roman-named planets".
Dei pronounced like "day"; as "in day of the week".
mos pronounces with a strong "O", as the "O" in the name Moses.
Day - mOs.
