Tito is one of the nicest that you can meet. If anyone meets him ask which was harder: wrestling or teaching. You'll have a great conversation. He would say teaching I think. |

Tito has been near the top of my want list since the beginning... As I have said before, Tito and Greg Valentine's feud over the IC title is what originally got me hooked on wrestling... would love to recreate that feud in the LWF.

I was a casual fan from mid-82 to around mid 1984. Friends from school were always talking about matches and I would watch and knew the names , etc. but wrestling was something that was just on before Ch 56 Creature Double Feature in Boston. Once Hulk won the belt, wrestling was everywhere and Tito was the company workhorse as he seemed he defended the IC title constantly in his two reigns. Even great tv bouts with Orndorff, Adonis and Schultz. The Valentine feud was key to having Tito as my favorite. He battled the Hammer during his first reign and then chasing Greg in classic battles. Time limit draws, count outs, Lumber Jack match and then that classic cage match with that emphatic finish! Great stuff and even followed the feud in the mags of the day and it seems they had taped fist matches, lumberjacks and other special bouts. Always wanted more matches, LOL. |

I had given up on Tito when he turned down the game early on but if he does sign for the game, feuds with Muraco, The Hammer and Hennig are definitely on my mind.
