I think the only way I'd be interested in a surprise legends set would be something like malicelover is suggesting.
Was watching Nick vs Brad yesterday and really would enjoy seeing Brad in Legends.
Other than finisher, I'm not sure Nick would be that different as he was getting a fairly strong push by the time he was teaming with Stevens and I don't feel the need for a young version of every wrestler but mileage may vary. Race on the other hand would likely be different (though we would really need Bruiser then and probably a different card for Hennig at least artwise)

This board might collapse and bring the whole internet down with it. So...win-win? TDalton, but without the board, what will become of Chad Olson's shoutouts at the end of The Uncharted Territory podcast? Not that i disagree with you at all on the premise of this post, and support it wholeheartedily.

I'm saying you'd pull Bockwinkel down to a 6(3) maybe lower the finisher rating of the figure-four, and adjust the charts and defense (more tags), with different art. Harley's change would be art, and stats related, again more slanted to tag team wrestling. I am just thinking do we truly believe we will be getting back-to-back TNTHOF sets with all new names? That seems kinda difficult to see, and options for B&W to color are sort of running out for these specific sets (not necessarily a bad thing). All I know is I am also the guy who wanted a Manny Fernandez world tag team champ card for the Road To Galacticon, so my desire for different cards representing the same guys at various points in their careers shall never be satiated!

I feel like the time it would make sense to include an alternate version of Bockwinkel is if we get his father in a TTHoF set. If Warren's not in the set, I'd rather see DDP or Race or Beyer or even a young white meat tag specialist Curt Hennig get released.
I hope the hall set continues the tradition of including an Olympian, personally I'm hoping for Chris Taylor.

Young Curt is a card I've warmed up to in recent years as he'd tag better with his father with that card.
Chris Taylor is one I only know a bit but would be intrigued with what I could do with such a card.

Bockwinkel and Stevens were AWA Tag Team champions for over two years in their combined reigns. They even traveled to other territories such as Florida while they were AWA champs. They were a tough team and I think their current cards represent that. Bockwinkel was also challenging Verne for the AWA title during his first few months in the territory right before teaming with Stevens and would often challenge for the belt when he was a Tag Team champ. He was a good singles wrestler who could also be a good tag team wrestler. As Troy or someone else said, maybe you do a card for Bock as a young babyface but it really makes no sense to make a separate card for his team with Stevens.

Tito is one of the nicest that you can meet. If anyone meets him ask which was harder: wrestling or teaching. You'll have a great conversation.
