I might be missing something here, but I don't get this conversation at all. Pro-Wrestling.. IN CANADA, it's a tradition. In JAPAN, it's a sport. In MEXICO, it's a religion. In AMERICA, it's a joke. I think someone who competed the majority or entire career in Japan should be stated stronger (not weaker) than someone in a U.S. 'territory'. I realize this is not a 'shoot', but if it was who would climb in the ring with Gary Albright? Kurt Angle, Steve Williams? The list is small too be sure. Wrestling is wrestling, is wrestling - no matter where it takes place. If you were a main eventer anywhere on the planet and it is a large promotion - think WWF, NJPW, AJPW, CMLL, AAA, WCW, etc. then the card should be statted similarly. To say that because the success didn't take place in America, means that their success on foreign soil should count for less, I'm sorry, that just makes sense to me. It's incredibly, at least in my opinion, narrow-sighted to just paint anyone whose success didn't take place in America as not as good as those who did. I mentioned Dr. Death and Stan Hanson on Discord. I stand by what I said - their best SUCCESS happened in Japan. Does that mean they shouldn't be as tough as their cards are and they are "too tough" because they weren't as successful in the U.S. as they were in Japan? Should they both have just been "midcard" based on the RAHL ratings? I don't put much stock in since a guy like Jack Brisco is rated highly, but has won zero matches for me other than when I drew him at GCON. Travis, real quick question - how should we stat Jerry Lawler if he ever joins the official LOW roster? He had a short run with the AWA World Title when the promotion was on life support, and otherwise, he was just a Memphis Territory Champion. Should he only be no better than a 35 based on that? A 40? Or slightly better than Gilbert, Bill Dundee, or Dutch? I don't think anyone would say that - Lawler's UBU card is statted appropriately, 100%. The card should look similar to that, even though the Memphis territory, in comparison to Florida (Graham), Carolina (Crockett), Minneapolis (Verne) and New York (Vince) had much stronger reputations.

Imagine if LOW had NO teasers to spark such 'interesting' discussions... No teasers for LOW?!? People want to know 'who's next' as soon as they get a new set in their hands. This board might collapse and bring the whole internet down with it.

I want the return of Crush to the GWF in 2140 as the only teaser: *Crush artwork done by Bank$ with cool font text above it: “Who’s Next!?!?”* Crush: I’m next! *Coming to promoters along with 11 other cards in Origins 2140!*

I have heard the name Gary Albright from somewhere but not sure where? He was announced at Road to Galacticon as the first in the Tragos/Thesz HOF set.

Just my two cents on the Albright / Pirata debate:
I understand the argument regarding how a wrestler should be statted based on where they performed, to a degree, and I’m all for realism and accuracy when it comes to this game, BUT, the imaginative side of my brain has already given thought to possibly “importing” Morgan from Mexico and putting him in the service of Kevin Sullivan or bringing Albright in as a foil for say, Bob Roop or Bob Backlund. If I ultimately went forward with these plans, I would want the best possible versions of both wrestlers. Crossing “eras” in my feds is a no-no, but crossing “borders” intrigues the hell outta me…

This board might collapse and bring the whole internet down with it. So...win-win?

I think it is time for some predictions about who is going to be in this upcoming set: 1.) Gary Albright - announced at Road to Galacticon 2.) Haku 3.) Earl Wampler 4.) Ed Don George 5.) Brad Rheingans 6.) Billy Robinson 7.) Luther Lindsay 8.) Bruno Sammartino Reason for the picks are as follows - Haku was present at last year's inductions and I wouldn't put it past Jerry and the Legends crew to get him signed. Earl Wampler and Ed Don George are more of the before television wrestlers, and would, in theory, be passed the statute of limitations on likeness rules, depending on where they died - if not family was found. They could be your held names, much like Zbysko and Burns were a year ago. Chad and Tim's comments about the tough partner/opponent for Albright, had me dig into the void of two of the toughest wrestlers that have received awards from the TNTHOF - so one of them makes sense to me. The last two picks are "what the hell picks," and frankly, the rampant speculation about Bruno being in a TNTHOF set has FINALLY worn me down. You win Filsinger Games Pro Board; you win. I hope the Bruno speculation bears fruit! That would be incredible.

Not having the slightest idea of who was in the envelope would be just like opening up a Christmas gift.😀

Just call it the “Just Be Cool” set.

Releasing that I would like to speak some into existence - swap out Earl Wampler and Brad Rheingans as maybe we get the following early career cards: Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race so we can have them team with their tag team partners (Stevens and Hennig). Speak it into existence.
