Not trying to be that guy, but I do hope Pirata Morgan and Gary Albright are statted appropriately (and the legends team does a great job and I tell them all the time).
But this is a game steeped in the American territory system. While we have a few Japanese legends like Baba and Inoki who should be statted like world champs, because they were legit champs, I hope Albright and Morgan are statted to compete against other legends. Not trying to be mean, but let’s be realistic: they don’t have a significant name in the states. They should probably “top out” (generously) at no more than 25 in a rating system. (Joe Malenko was a 32 in mine and I think was probably a bit high).
Just my opinions though, which mean nothing, but I do want this game to be realistic.
(And on the other hand, so people don’t think I’m a “hater”: people know I’m a big Tommy Rich fan and I think he’s too high)

Gary Albright is a BEAST and great addition to the game.
Enjoy LOW fans, at least you're getting teasers. All us COTG fans are getting are cryptic little blurbs.

I hear what you're saying, and I am by no means an authority on Gary Albright, as I only vaguely knew the name before he came up as an inductee last year and the speculation about his potential inclusion came up... But when watching a few matches/highlight videos, it seems that he was pushed pretty hard in Japan, to the point of throwing Vader around... Granted, he was not nearly as big of a deal here, but clearly, his time in Japan was prime for Him... Not saying he should have stats in line with Vader's, but 25 seems really low. Of course, just my opinion.

If there will be updates of existing cards, will one of them be DDP looking like the 3-time, 3-time, 3-time WCW World Champion?

I'm all for treating Japan, Mexico, UK etc. as equivalent to the USA for statting purposes. If a wrestler's peak was in one of those locales, he or she should be statted accordingly. I fully expect and want my Gary Albright card to be a real handful for my Big Van Vader card.

I’d be ok if they gave him bold stats for his Japan run, but we need to be realistic: in any serious wrestling game, Albright shouldn’t be in the main event or evenly competing against main event guys . If he did, that card would be unusable. I’m a Tommy rich fan, but I think his card is a bit high

I might be missing something here, but I don't get this conversation at all.
Pro-Wrestling..
IN CANADA, it's a tradition. In JAPAN, it's a sport. In MEXICO, it's a religion. In AMERICA, it's a joke.
I think someone who competed the majority or entire career in Japan should be stated stronger (not weaker) than someone in a U.S. 'territory'.
I realize this is not a 'shoot', but if it was who would climb in the ring with Gary Albright? Kurt Angle, Steve Williams? The list is small too be sure.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Albright. I'm also concerned about all the other talent that shone outside the USA but were nobody here. How do we stat Kawada or Wayne Bridges in the unlikely event we get them? But I agree on Tommy Rich.
That's a tough case. Tommy was a supernova. He burned bright and he burned out fast. For a short time, he was America's top babyface. That didn't last long. Then he was essentially midcard for the rest of his career. The card we have is OP for nearly all his time in the business.
