He's irreplaceable and he was a last minute cancellation due to illness, so two reasons for no replacement!

I probably will wait until it streams to see this, but I hated the casting of Kevin and Kerry. Effron doesn’t give off any vibe about being Kevin and the dude that played Kerry should’ve been cast as Chris as they’re both about 5-4

Kicking off this first full weekend of 2024 with some Hoops and Wrestling game action

- Can we get more Western NY facts weather or other, potentially best new segment in years

- okay the sleep thing is really cool Chad, I have always used a box fan and thankfully got the wife addicted to it as well. But the headband is a cool thing if you have a partner that can't have noise to sleep

- Aw man, that was a question I should have asked WHAT IS EVERYONES CHRISTMAS EVE or CHRISTMAS meal staple? The buffet sounded awesome Cory. My dads family always does a roast pork loin, my wifes family always does brunch items.

- my wife always gives me sneers when I say "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" was said by John Wilkes Booth and I always respond too soon? I admit I laughed at Chad's joke about the Iron Claw movie.

- I always liked Maura Tierney (sp?), was a big fan of Newsradio and I think she was the mom in Liar, Liar. Surprised she didn't do more big things.

- KBs question ... Ted Dibiase would have been a great champion and should have had an actual run. Rick Rude should have had a WWE title run too. My pick is gonna be someone I dont think they would have given him the title but I think should have had a run if not passing away in the ring would be Owen Hart.

- Chad's point about pulling the trigger, HOW DO YOU NOT give Luger the belt at Summerslam. Count out win and huge celebration actually killed his push

- I think that is a lot of WHAT IFs in wrestling where so many things come down to simple decisions that changed everything. If Savage wins at Wrestlemania V or if at the end of Mania VI they make it a passing of a torch moment and not all about Hogan (the way its filmed I always felt like it was about Hogan and they were setting up Wrestlemania VII).

- Not to put down destroyer park golf, Tim do you have a hole in one on a PGA golf course?

- Totally did the same thing with charts and a Galacticon cleared that up for me

- I do the same rule Chad with a tag finisher, the other guy has to do one offensive move.

- I always do the move on the card unless the chart result has a move that makes me laugh, there was a big man that always did the moonsault and got a laugh out of me so I had them do that.

- HEY I do the same thing with my fed where it's the story of one federation through out time. Have always done that since they started dropped Legends sets. I have played out 1947-2012, I am playing 2040-2045 (more to get my roster of unplayed cards down), 2075 (classics fed), 2087-2139 (champions fed) and I have/had a future fed that took place between 2187-2206 which I used all the extra cards that were more monsterous and also used Rob's Kronos cards as clones of former wrestlers. To make matters worse I have also incorporated other sports game and developed an entire sports network with baseball, football, hockey, basketball and wrestling from Filsinger Games. Hence the spreadsheet of wonder lol. I don't think I have ever talked to Matt before but this was an AWESOME story and I am glad you guys had him on to share his story. This is always the best part of the game, to hear other peoples stories and how there feds have turned out. What they did, how they reacted to certain things.

- Ill throw in a comics note since we are talking comics ... my first comics were the X-Mens days of the future past comics. I have Bishops first appearance and collected from then to almost 2000. I loved X-men

- AWESOME AWESOME interview with Matt, again one of my favorite parts of this game.  Funny how different minds have similar ideas.  My fed is set up VERY similar with one person in a destroyed Earth finding the LASN studios and since they are the only one left (in my mind its always been Mesmer who is also Merlin) are slowly restoring the archive and watching old wrestling (and now old other sports too since I do a whole network now lol)

- and then we get another great segment with Kevin Butcher.  This might be a weird compliment but Kevin has a great voice and reminds me of one of the narrators on a radio show my Grandpa used to listen to.  Wasnt the Shadow but cant remember what it was called.

- 2024 should be a good year, wife is due with our first 3-29-24

- THEY SAID MY NAME AGAIN!!!!!!!  Best day ever!!  I also made sure to spell Cory correct this week and keep everyone straight lol.

I just started listening to this episode on the way home from the casino today where I placed my bets for this weekend's NFL games (last week I won 3 of 4 parlay tickets and I made 3 more parlay bets today.)

I hope Cory has a good time in Milwaukee this weekend and good luck to his team in the tournament. I went to Milwaukee in 2022 after the Chicago Galacticon and I ate the best brat I ever had (I think the restaurant was called the Old Milwaukee Brat House? malicelover recommended the place to me.)
