Washington has already fired Ron Rivera and Atlanta has already fired Arthur Smith, no surprises there.

And that's in addition to the Panthers. Raiders, and Chargers, who didn't wait until the end of the season.

Though given the way the team played under him, Raiders should consider giving interim head coach Antonio Pierce a shot.

They should but Mark probably has his eyes on someone else.

Though given the way the team played under him, Raiders should consider giving interim head coach Antonio Pierce a shot. I am very open to the Raiders bringing back AP. But I think if Jim Harbaugh leaves Michigan then they need to at least consider him as a possibility too based on his successful track record.

I am just worried someone is going to swoop up the Lions OC Ben Johnson. I guess that is the price of success. Being a Lions fan, I am not used to that.

Someone likely will grab him. You just prepare yourself.

I am surprised. I wonder if age played a part in this. It might be that both sides could see him coaching the Seahawks for a few more years but then they would have to replace him then with out knowing who would be available. Where as they might see his replacement available now and want to jump on that person.
