There's a pricey Rom omnibus coming out later this month that I'm really on the fence about picking up. That was a really good series but IDK if it's worth dropping $100.

Would be a library borrow for me. I'd love to read it but way more than I'd pay for it.

I've been saving my credit card rewards points for months waiting for that ROMnibus so I don't have to pay for it.

Was a serious collector in the glory days of my youth. Bought Avengers #1 for a whopping $65 in 1980-ish. Also got a pretty beat up Spider Man #14 (first Goblin) for cheap just to have it. Got out of it when I went to college and never really got back into it. Liked the group books the best (JLA, Avengers, Legion, Defenders, etc.).

EPIC landmark book that I never had the privilege of it passing through my hands. Do you still own your childhood collection?

Do you still own your childhood collection? I do. Most are in a climate controlled storage facility and I haven't cracked open the long boxes in years.

topdollar - My favorite issue of All Star Squadron is probably #25, with the introduction of Infinity, Inc. I'm also partial to #31, which is the full Squadron meeting you spoke of. There were some really great storylines. I also love Tarantula's costume! Love the intro of Infinity Inc. I started reading All Star Squadron during the Ultra Humanite storyline with Amazing Man, Deathbolt, Cyclotron, Infinity Inc. & Secret Society Of Super-Villains(Brainwave, Psycho Pirate, Mist, Monocle, Rag Doll & Vulcan, Son Of Fire). I always thought Vulcan was a cool character. I'm surprised they never did more with him.

topdollar - That's when I started reading All-Star Squadron regularly too, with the Ultra Humanite story! Good times! After the discussion of Infinity, Inc., last week, I went on eBay and bought a complete run, except #14, which was Todd McFarlane's first mainstream comic job. Had to buy that one separately.
