Not directly comics, but comics related, but what is the feeling on X-Men 97 that just came out on Disney+ ? I'm not a Disney guy but I had to see this and I have to say I was happy with the first two episodes. Now, it is modern Disney so I'm waiting for the moment they ruin it, but so far so good. If they maintain the throwback feel and sensibility they have a real winner.

I've heard good things but I just can't keep Disney long term so may not be able to watch it.
On the comic front, they're finally compiling the Amalgam stuff so I have plans on getting them even though I probably still have all the comics.

Hi I was lucky enough today to stop by the comic book shop at lunchtime and I noticed this: Oh wow! McFarlane's artwork was the reason I had begun collecting comics again in the 90's! It also helped that the local comic book store in Northampton back in the 90's had a February and August sale with comics 75% off! Fun times! So yeah, great book! Plenty of artwork by Todd that I hadn't seen before! So I'm putting a mini-set of cards with McFarlane's artwork on the back-burner for now, I'm sure it will be a super-fun set to make!  And it helps that his first name is "Todd" as well, haha! How could I not like the guy?  Todd C WTIC |
