I just got a copy of Bronze Star by Mike Baron and Pat Broderick. A beautifully drawn tale of the old west with a werewolf twist. A supernatural western, if you will. A supernatural western, sounds very cool.

Who are your favorite supporting characters? I'm not talking about characters everyone knows like Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Alfred, Aunt May, Mary Jane Watson, etc.
I'm talking about the minor characters that only readers of that comic would know. Here are a few of my favorites from comics I read on a regular basis:
Male: Briscoe--Suicide Squad's helicopter pilot
Female: Science Police Officer Gigi Cusimano--Dated Sun Boy of LSH
Other: Skeets--Booster Gold's security robot sidekick

Always like Robbie Robertson at the Daily Bugle.
And the elf who showed up in Defenders periodically, shot a bunch of folks, and was unexpectedly run over by a truck (or maybe it was a bus).

Robbie is a good one. Spider-Man has some of the best supporting characters along with the best rogues gallery outside of Batman. I suppose I'd have to go with Microchip from The Punisher as my favorite supporting character. The tech man behind the scenes made Frank more believable and gave him a sort of counterbalance and human element.

I've been reading love everlasting. It's very good and not something I thought I would like. Here's the premise: Joan Peterson discovers that she is trapped in an endless, terrifying cycle of "romance"-a problem to be solved, a man to marry-and every time she falls in love she's torn from her world and thrust into another teary saga. I'll have to check that out love Tom King, lately he has been my favorite creator, with the exception of Danger Street.

Ben Urich from the Frank Miller issues of Daredevil is the first one that comes to mind.

Always like Robbie Robertson at the Daily Bugle. And the elf who showed up in Defenders periodically, shot a bunch of folks, and was unexpectedly run over by a truck (or maybe it was a bus). It was a truck. When Elf With A Gun met KISS, Space Ace said, "Nice guy. I hope he gets hit by a truck", and he did in an issue of Defenders!

A youtube channel I follow called ComicTropes has a video about the entire run with Elf With a Gun. Created originally by the creator of Howard the Duck.
