Greg Valentine forced George South to submit to the Figure Four Leglock. Valentine dominated the short match using Valentine Chops for a near fall before locking in the Figure Four to win.
The Briscos knocked off The Baron and The Butcher when Jack pinned Abdullah after a dropkick. Abdullah was stunned by Jack's perfect dropkick and Baron was unable to react. (Snake Eyes)
Wahoo McDaniel bloodied Johnny Valentine before finishing him off with overhead chops. Valentine dominated early but Wahoo came roaring back and chopped Johnny down to size.
Harley Race bested Roddy Piper with the Piledriver. These two nearly both got disqualified for brawls on the floor but in the end, Race was just too much.

SGT Slaughter bested Nacho Barrera by disqualification when an overexuberent Nacho shoved the referee down when he was trying to break apart a brawl on the floor.
Baron Von Raschke edged Jim Brunzell with the Brain Claw.
Larry Zbyszko pinned The Crusher after a neckbreaker and handful of trunks.
Bruiser Brody squashed Nick Bockwinkel in short order with the Jumping Knee Drop. Brody countered off the ropes and then hit the Knee Drop while Crusher made sure Bobby Heenan did not get involved.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan thumped King Kong Bundy after two Flying Spears. Bundy had a good start but Duggan avoided a clothesline and hit a spinning body slam for a near fall before hitting the Spear twice. Larry Sharpe made one distraction but the second failed and Duggan took the victory.
US Express finished off The Bolsheviks when Windham pinned Volkoff with the Bulldog. Zhukov tried to make a save of his bloody partner but Rotundo caught him with a perfect dropkick knocking Zhukov to the mat as the ref counted three.
Randy Savage bested Paul Orndorff with the Flying Elbow Drop. Piper did a slow count but Paul was not moving forcing Piper to count three. After the match, Orndorff recovered and got into a shouting match with Piper with a shove each way before they departed.
Kurt Angle squashed Bob Backlund after a finisher run (5 finishers rolled in a row) pinning Backlund after the Olympic Slam. Backlund gave Angle an opening after missing a move and Angle took full advantage of it hitting repeated Ankle Locks and Olympic Slams before a last Slam kept Backlund down.
