History--both good and bad is to be learned from, not erased. Vince is a classic example. Meanwhile, in Titan Towners I suspect Bruce and HHH are squirming in their seats. Under TKO, neither has the power they once had. TKO's loyalty is to TKO--and most assuredly not to the IWC and the wrestlers they idolize. Bruce Prichard's days are numbered if the Rhonda Rousey tweet saying he's essentially a Vinnie Mac Avatar. Triple H is an interesting case. I can see him being let go after WrestleMania and depending on how much he actually knew about what Vince was doing behind closed doors. If he found out the same time Stephanie supposedly did nothing about it I could see him gone. Triple H was against Vince coming back when he did, so that may help him stick around. If Triple H does get removed that WWE will be moving forward without any member of the McMahon extended family working for them in a high position.

Perhaps it's time for one family member to return and save the family business. Hornswoggle.

Hi This doesn't look good for Vince, obviously. I wonder if he will "settle out of court" or actually get some jail time? Todd C WTIC

Todd C WTIC My guess is the case will take a year or two to be completed and then he'll just keep appealing until he dies. He'll most likely never see a jail cell, unfortunately.

Have criminal charges been filed, too? I thought this was just a civil suit.

Have to wait and see. They could say Vince is a criminal, but he's also a senile old man so we won't prosecute.

It would be hard--but not impossible--to prove criminal wrongdoing. McMahon's defense team will play her out as a willing participant who is now looking for a payday, and that could create reasonable doubt. Civil trials have a much lower threshold of proof required.

People can rip me, that’s fine. I could care less about Vince, Brother Love, Johnny Ace or anyone in the wwe, but this was a 40 year old woman. Of course she was a willing participant! Lol. She was getting a payday and was ticked when Vince welched on his promise (and she should get whatever money Vince owed her). They’re all guilty of being goofs. Vince’s team should go after her as a willing participant. Any good lawyer should because the proof is there.

The power imbalance basically negates consent.

It's seedy, it's weird, but this was a woman in her late 30s-early 40s when this happened They have seeded pics of her as a much younger woman onto the internet and frame it like a young lady being taken advantage of. Power imbalance, okay. This woman, with no qualifications, met Vince multiple times in his condo to discuss a possible and unspecified job in the company. Playing devil's advocate, the defense will have a lot to work with here. BUT, being civil, as stated earlier, the burden of proof is at a much lower threshold and a sympathetic jury will award this woman big bank regardless. To summarize: Vince is probably a creep, this woman will be much wealthier than if she'd never met him, Johnny Ace will still be the most hated man in the world, and WWE is now owned by a huge corporation that will tank it sooner rather than later if you smell what Rocky is cooking.
