Just take every aspect of this case and role reverse the sexes. Make it a 40 year old guy getting taken advantage of from older female bosses. Does it get the headlines? Does it get any attention at all? Does the male get sympathy? No. Easy answer, no. You'd say he knew what he was doing and he should have walked away. It would still be creepy, it would still be awful, but the guy would get zero sympathy and zero compensation. There's a strange double standard where we say everyone is equal but when it comes to something like this "well, she's just a girl in the world" (cue No Doubt). I know people want to skin the evil billionaire boss guy, but where does personal accountability come into play? If I had to interview at a 70 year old bosses condo and she came out in her undies, interview over. I can go work at Walmart or the gas station or anywhere else over that. At what point do you say "this is weird and I'm out"? Equity |= equality. The standards are different because the situations are different both physically and financially. Edit: guiltyparty summed it up way better than I could.

At what point do you say "this is weird and I'm out"? Exactly this He had zero power over her when she’s talking to him about a job. And if people know me, they know I’m no Vince fan of wwe fan boy. I was a southern “rasslin” guy to the end and always held a bit of a grudge with the wwe. But people need to quit with “White knighting” this woman. If you make decisions like her when you are 40….she knew she had a payday. Now if anyone wants to talk Ashley Massaro, I’m all ears. They completely failed that woman and used power to ruin her

She was also a particularly vulnerable woman both emotionally (having lost both of her parents in short order) and financially (having been away from the workforce to take care of said parents). Pete, this happens to people in all walks of life, everyday What advice would you give your daughter, sister, whatever if she came home and said “this weird 75 year old was talking to me in his underwear” You’d tell her the dude has issues and stay the **** away. She didn’t.

Vince also had contacts all over Stamford where she lived, all over the business world, executive friends in high places, Saudi royalty, and...oh yeah, a relationship with the sitting President of the United g*d-damn States. This was your point. in your own words. It borders on conspiracy theory.

She didn’t. I lost both of my parents within a 25 day period. I was next to my mother when she passed. I planned her funeral that afternoon. Do I get the benefit of being "vulnerable"? I went to work the next day. If the equity card is going to be played, let's play it fair all the way around. Both sides bear some responsibility in this Vince saga.

Let me grab the wheel of this, why was it even started on this board, thread and steer it into the ditch.
Wait... That's already been done!

I literally went into work the day my dad died (partially because he died at 5 a.m. in hospice and shortly after my mom told me, "Well, you may as well go into work.") But I also didn't spend up to my last dime keeping him alive and people mourn differently. It's not really my place to tell anyone how they "should" react nor is it anyone's to tell me the same.

It borders on conspiracy theory. If my point was unclear, I apologize but I'll repeat it: whether Trump actually had a hand in Ms. Grant's potential future is immaterial. The point is Vince could have *easily convinced her that he and a bunch of other people like Dick Ebersol did.* That Vince and Trump have a relationship I hope would not be in dispute.

So your post ultimately is about your dislike of Trump...and not about the rest of your conspiracy. Got it.
