January 8, Year 1: THE ERA OF DiHARD BEGINS MAIN EVENT PLUS 3 MATCHES ANNOUNCED!
Philadelphia has been a Mecca for fighting sports being Boxing, MMA, and Wrestling! Many promotions has been born in Philly and happen to disappear! 1 promotion that comes to mind is 1 that embraced Extreme, the other embraced Honor! These 2 promotions had Franchise Wrestlers……… Shane Douglas through his actions and of course his often verbal statements made him the Franchise of the Extreme! Jay Lethal’s hard work, dedication, and foundation made him the Franchise of Honor! On February 10 these 2 will face off in the Main Event to prove which Franchise will lead the generation of Diehard!

Another highly anticipated match will pit 2 of the best tag teams in another 1st time clash! Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) came together as a unit in the biggest wrestling company in the world, dominating all that was put in-front of them with their awesome blend of amateur, submission, and tag team wrestling this well groomed team trained under the watchful eyes of Jim Cornette wants to dominate in the land of Diehard! Hernandez & Homicide these 2 came up in life the hard way from the street! Brought together by Lucha-Legend Konnan these 2 came up the ranks with an impact in a promotion that’s known for its nonstop action! WGTT will go head on with Hernandez & Homicide for the 1st time!
WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM -1/30- HERNANDEZ & HOMICIDE
Not everyone will get guaranteed a spot on Diehard’s roster; some will need to prove themselves! Bryan Keith, a Texas born and bred wrestling talent that just started to make his mark throughout the Indy-scene in the USA! Silas Young no stranger to the fans in Philly, this veteran has made a name for himself in an Honorable promotion, but in a dishonest way, he wants to prove he can still be Wrestling’s Last Real Man in the land of Diehard! Young & Keith will battle under Proving Ground Rules: Winner will get a spot on Diehard’s Roster, the loser will be shown out the door and will not compete for Diehard Wrestling!

A rivalry may get reborn at Diehard’s debut! Roderick Strong has been apart of some of wrestling’s best factions throughout his career during his time in the land of Honor he crossed paths with Cedrick Alexander, injuring Alexander! Alexander made his return from his injury beating Strong with his opponents own move! Strong heard Alexander was signed by Diehard Wrestling called the matchmakers asking for a shot At Alexander, Alexander response was let’s do this one more time!

PROVING GROUND MATCH JOSH ALEXANDER -1/20- JEREMY WYATT Josh Alexander has been Canada’s best kept secret for the last few years, Alexander has recently invaded and been dominating promotions in the US! Jeremy Wyatt has been the best kept secret in the Midwest Indy scene even being call Kansas City’s King! These top prospects will battle for a spot on Diehard’s roster in the Proving Ground!
3 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH THE AMERICAN WOLVES -1/30- DELIRIOUS & EL GENERICO -1/30- KINGS OF WRESTLING Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards have been partners & rivals, but as the American Wolves they’re one if not the best tag teams in wrestling. Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero has decided to reunite the KOW here in Diehard and plan to dominate this promotion! The wild card in this 3 Way Elimination is the 1st time teaming of 2 unpredictable wrestlers Delirious & El Generico; the question is can these 2 communicate, even understand each other to work as a team? This should be a unique match!
AUSTIN AIRES -1/20- RHETT TITUS The very controversial A-Double has won championships everywhere he has wrestled as well the dislike of his peers for his blatant disregard for the locker room ethics, and of course his arrogance of being “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived!” Rhett Titus started out as a comical wrestler to one of the best technical wrestlers when he joined a faction known as the Foundation! PROVING GROUND MATCH JUSTIN CREDIBLE -1/20- MIKEY O’SHEA Mikey O’Shea made his name wrestling in Hollywood’s CWFH, crossing paths with the best wrestlers on the west coast! He’s not just the coolest….He’s not just the best….He’s Justin Credible, his wrestler made his mark after leaving the biggest wrestling company in the world and went to the Extreme, where he truly became an Impact Player. Impact Player or one of the best in the west, they’ll need to prove which one wants a spot on Diehard’s roster!
PROVING GROUND MATCH THE TRIBE -1/20- PHILLY’S MOST WANTED The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navaho Warrior) are the best tag team on the West Coast! Philly’s Most Wanted (Joker & Blk-Jeez) are one of the East Coast most extreme tag teams! This Proving Ground Match will be interesting because not only will the winners get a spot on the Diehard roster but a shot at the Briscoes at Diehard With A Vengeance!

Definitions, according to DiEHARD WRESTLING
PROVING GROUND MATCH This is a match were 2 wrestlers may battle for a spot on the roster, or a outsider may challenge a roster member/wrestler for their spot. This match is usually 1 fall with a 20 minute time limit.
THE DiEHARD 16 A yearly 16 man single elimination 2 night tournament! Year-1 will determine the 1st Diehard Champion; starting with Year 2 the winner will challenge the Diehard Champion at The Diehard SuperCard event!
DiEHARD TITLE ELIMINATOR MATCH A contending wrestler(s) actively on the roster challenges a champion(s) in Diehard; if they win the non-title match/or goes the distance with the champion (s); he’ll get a future title match for that championship! Also 2 or more contenders battling for a title shot at a champion may also be held under the following stipulations! if the contender(s) lose they may not be able to challenge for that championship for a year! If the contender(s) win they will get a future title shot as long as it’s announced 1 card before the match happens!
DiEHARD CHAMPIONSHIP The top championship, of course representing the truly being the best of all the wrestlers in this promotion!
DiEHARD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The one and only tag team championship for this promotion. Being the top tag team in the division of Diehard Wrestling!
DiEHARD ULTRA X CHAMPIONSHIP This will be the secondary championship behind the Diehard Championship. Of course TNA made the X Title one of the most watched championships in wrestling! Ultra X Title is pretty much the same; no limits, no weight limits, & action packed wrestling! When the Ultra X Champion has successfully defended his title 7 times he’s allowed to use option C! Option C the Ultra X Champion may vacate The Ultra X Title and go on to challenge for the Diehard Championship with at least 1 card notice for promotional purposes for such a high level/high stakes match!

DiEHARD WRESTLING’S: THE ERA OF DiEHARD BEGINS February 10, Year 1, The Fillmore, Philadelphia, PA
Venue attendance: 1,000 Commentators: Excalibur & Matt Striker Ring Announcer/Interviewer: So-Cal Val
PROVING GROUND SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes BRYAN KEITH defeated SILAS YOUNG by Pinfall This was truly a back and forth battle between these two men both had several near-falls but at the end Bryan Keith proved he belongs in Diehard after using 2 Emerald Tiger Drivers and a Rodeo DDT to finish off his opponent! (Time of Match 18:48)
After the match So-Cal Val caught up with the victorious Bryan Keith; Keith stated he’s always been Diehard, and he’s willing to prove that to everyone in the back, or anyone that want to come into Diehard! Before Keith was able to leave Austin Aires strolled to the ring handing the young Keith his banana peel and telling the young wrestler that at Diehard With A Vengeance he’ll except Keith’s invitation for a match! Austin tried a sucker punch, Keith avoided that and lands a Spining kick that sent Aires out of the ring, embarrassing A-Double as Keith left to the dressing room!
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes RODERICK STRONG Defeated CEDRICK ALEXANDER by Submission The 2nd match of the evening was highly competitive between the 2 rivals as they showcased what Diehard Wrestling is all about! At the end of the match Strong used 2 Sick Kicks and his Strong-Hold on Alexander, Alexander would not tap/submit, he passed out before he could quit! (Time of Match 14:50)
As Alexander was laying passed out from Stong’s submission hold, Roddy laid in some kicks to his fallen opponent before he left to the back as he was grinning ear to ear as medics was checking on the fallen Alexander. After Alexander was helped to the back; LodiRaider 209 made his way to the ring thanking the fan for attending tonight’s event, and announced that not only will Diehard return on February 24 with Diehard With A Vengeance, but on March 16 in NYC & March 17 in Philadelphia Diehard will hold a 2 night single elimination tournament called The Diehard 16; this will be an annual tournament and this year it will determine who will be the 1st Diehard Wrestling Champion!
TAG TEAM MATCH: 1 Fall, 30 Minutes WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM Defeated HERNANDEZ & HOMICIDE by Pinfall WGTT display their superior wrestling skills as Hernandez & Homicide used the combination of traditional Lucha with street fighting! This was a closely contested match between the 2 teams, however towards the end Hernandez was distracted and wasn’t there for a tag allowing Haas to score the pin on Homicide after a overhead belly to belly suplex. (Time of Match 21:45)
As WGTT left the ring Hernandez & Homicide was interviewed by So-Cal Val where Homicide was a little bit frustrated with Hernandez; Hernandez swore his distraction won’t happen again! As Val was wrapping up the interview Bad-Boy Tito & Rico Dynamite hopped over the guardrail letting the founding members of LAX know that they’re on the downside of their careers and they’re on the way up! Before the 2 team could come to blows security quickly separated the 2 teams.
PROVING GROUND SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes JOSH ALEXANDER & JEREMY WYATT Went To Time-limit Draw Both wrestlers went tooth and nail coming close to pinning one another during the match. At the end both men were turning up the heat trying to get the victory as the bell rang the referee in charge of the match needed security to come in separating the 2! (Time of Match 20:00)
As Alexander & Wyatt calmed down So-Cal Val went to inform the 2 that Diehard Matchmakers will give them a 2nd Proving Ground Match at Diehard With A Vengeance! Alexander went to shake Wyatt’s hand, as The Monarch obliged, he suckered punched Alexander then delivered a Coronation Piledriver before leaving!
3 WAY TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH: 2 Falls, 20 Minutes KINGS OF WRESTLING defeated THE AMERICAN WOLVES & DELIRIOUS/EL GENERICO by Pinfall It was a competitive match as the 3 teams was firing on all cylinders until Generico held Richards for Delirious to spray his mist, Richards moved then finished off Generico with a Brain-Buster for the 1st elimination (12:43) KOW & the Wolves was going back and forth until Edwards injured his knee; both Castagnoli & Hero took full advantage of the injured Wolf as Castagnoli finished off Edwards with the Giant Swing! (Time of Last Fall 15:21)
As Richards was helping his partner to the back Justin Credible w/Jazz was heading to the ring for his Proving Ground Match when he struck Richards with his Singapore Cain then used a guardrail to further injure Edwards’ knee before security and referees could stop the carnage! Credible entered the ring waiting on Mikey O’Shea. As O’Shea started to walk to the ring Davey Richards stopped him and ask to take his place; O’Shea shook Richards’ hand in agreement as Richards entered the ring! Richards addressed the fans and Credible telling them if Credible wins he can have his spot!
PROVING GROUND SINGLES MATCH: 1Fall, 20 Minutes DAVEY RICHARDS Defeated JUSTIN CREDIBLE by Pinfall Credible took it to Richards early in the bout furthering the already battered body of Richards. During the match as Credible had the referee’s attention after a rope break Jazz landed a stiff forearm strike to Richards! As it looked like Richards was going to loose his spot on the roster The American Wolf made his comeback taking it to Credible finishing him off with a Brain-Buster! (Time of Match 18:09)
The fans was singing (na na naaa na hey hey heeey good bye) to Justin Credible, Mikey O’Shey entered the ring telling Richards since he did him a favor, it’s time to repay it…….at Diehard With A Vengeance in a Proving Ground Match for his spot! Richards agreed shaking hands with O’Shey but also tells O’Shey that he better bring his best because he’s not leaving Diehard!
INTERMISSION LodiRaider209 came out to announce that the winner of the Jerry Lynn/AJ Styles match will face Jushin Liger in the main event of Diehard With A Vengeance on February 24! As the owner was thanking the fans, sponsors, and wrestlers Austin Aires came to the ring addressing that he’s the true main event and Titus is going to learn that tonight and Keith will learn that on the 24th then proceeded to tell the owner to get out of the ring and for his opponent to get out here night now! Titus was playing the waiting game as A-Double was throwing a fit saying how this promotion is a waste of time and he’s leaving now! As he was about to exit, Titus made his way to the ring!
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes RHETT TITUS Defeated AUSTIN AIRES by Pinfall Aires had control for most of the match, showing little respect for his opponent. During of Aries’ torment to the fans booing him Titus managed to get some offense in but Aires quickly recovered and took charge again. As the match was going Aires’ way Bryan Keith came out walking around the ring, causing Aires to turn his attention towards The Bounty Hunter! As Aires was distracted Titus made his comeback again and managed to shock the fans and Aires as he landed his Muff Driver for the win! (Time of Match 15:21)
Titus hopped over the guardrail celebrated with the fans as Bryan Keith entered the ring standing over the fallen Aires; telling him he’ll suffer the same fate at Diehard With A Vengeance, before leaving! As Aires finally got off the mat and was trying to leave So-Cal Val tried to get a word with Aires on his loss to Titus only for A-Double to tell her “Go home, cook, clean, & make babies” as he walked away.
PROVING GROUND TAG TEAM MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes PHILLY’S MOST WANTED Defeated THE TRIBE by Pinfall This was mostly a brawl from the start as PMW used their extreme tactics to take the Tribe off their game. Navajo managed to get some offense going for his team but was quickly beaten down and put threw a table by BLK Jeez, then finished off by Joker’s Cambo Wizard! (Time of Match 18:49)
So-Cal Val spoke with Philly’s Most Wanted about being apart of the Diehard roster and having the chance to face the Briscoes! Jeez & Joker just laughed and told the back that extreme has come to Diehard and just like The Tribe tonight the Briscoe Bitches will fall next, and whatever teams come after that will fall to as PMW owns the Diehard Tag Division!
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 30 Minutes AJ STYLES Defeated JERRY LYNN By Pinfall This was truly a 7 Star match as the fans chatted “Diehard Wrestling” as this match was back and forth for the most part! Styles turned up the intensity at the end turning what was mostly a clean match between the both into a slugfest even landing a low blow before ending the match with the Styles Clash! (Time of Match 23:12)
As the referee raised Styles’ arm in victory Lynn quickly spun Styles around asking him why he needed to win dirty. So-Cal went up to catch the words of both men. As Styles explained that the heat of battle he lost his head and apologized to Lynn…….Then delivered another low blow and Styles Clash to Lynn and then says Liger is next!
MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 60 Minutes JAY LETHAL Defeated SHANE DOUGLAS By Submission This classic match up of the 2 Franchises blew expectations away both wrestlers tried everything in there arsenal to win this match! Douglas landed Belly To Belly that would’ve ended the match but the referee was out of position for the count luckily for Lethal. Later in the match all thought the Lethal Injection was it but Francine placed Douglas’ foot on the rope thus bringing out Jordynne Grace to even the odds. As the match was reaching the 34 minute mark Candido came out after the referee bump tried to double team Lethal with Douglas but Jonathan Gresham evened the odds and managed to brawl through the fans with Candido as the referee came to Lethal managed to lock in the Koji Clutch……Douglas is close to the ropes but taps out! (Time of Match 37:36)
As Lethal, Gresham, and Grace (The Foundation) celebrated at the entrance, Douglas with Candido & Francine (The Triple Threat) was on the microphone proclaimed that the referee screwed him over he wasn’t tapping out he was trying to reach the rope………he wants a rematch!

DiEHARD WRESTLING’S: DiEHARD WITH A VENGEANCE February 24, Year 1, The Fillmore, Philadelphia, PA
Venue Attendance: 975 Commentators: Excalibur & Matt Striker Ring Announcer/Interviewer: So-Cal Val
PROVING GROUND SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes DAVEY RICHARDS Defeated MIKEY O’SHEA by Pinfall Richards kept O’Shea on the defensive with a combination of ground wrestling mixed with highflying dives! Every time O’Shea tried his comeback Davey countered! O’Shea’s toughness showed as Richards hit his Brainbuster and his opponent kicked out, went for the DR Driver and again O’Shea kicked out but after the 2nd DR Driver Richards scored the victory! (Time of Match 12:04)
As O’Shea was slow to getting up Richards grabbed the microphone letting everyone and O’Shea that tonight wasn’t his night; however don’t give up and one day they will again meet in a Diehard ring in the future! Richards & O’Shea exchanged a fist bump showing the mutual respect for each other!
PROVING GROUND SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes JOSH ALEXANDER defeated JEREMY WYATT by pinfall Both wrestlers stuck to the ground attack trying to wear the other out! Wyatt on one pin attempt thought to had pinned Alexander but as the referee made the 3 count as he got up noticed that Alexander’s foot was under the bottom rope and with a slightly frustrated Wyatt, protesting the restart. The match restarted both wrestlers battled inside and out but it was Alexander using the C4 Spike to get the win and the spot on the roster! (Time of Match 18:21)
After a disgruntled Wyatt left for the back! So-Cal Val was ringside with Josh Alexander as he proclaimed now that he is on the roster he plans on dominating Diehard; and is willing to take on any and all comers on or off the roster!
TAG TEAM MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ Defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING by Pinfall Both teams brawled, wrestled, and even took to the air in this match. Castagnoli showed his strength using the giant swing on Hernandez, Hero also close to winning after loading his elbow pad and knocking Homicide out of the match! Super-Mex showed his toughness taking on and defeating KOW after Homicide was taken to the back and hit a couple of Border Tosses on both Hero and Castagnoli! (Time of Match 18:30)
After the match Hernandez was going to go check on Homicide (who was taken to the back) when another LAX member showed up……..Shelly Martinez! As Hernandez was hugging Martinez Bad Boy Tito & Rico Dynamite again hopping the guardrails, as Hernandez but himself between Martinez & the 2 Invaders………..Martinez low blows Hernandez, Tito hits the F-5 on Super-Mex…….Martinez has the microphone telling the downed Hernandez and everyone that coming soon Reyes De Metones will be taking LAX’s spot on the roster, by the only way they know….lying, cheating, and stealing!
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes JERRY LYNN & RODERICK STRONG Ended in a Double Count-Out! This match was a classic wrestling match at the beginning with both wrestlers using a combination of chain wrestling and submission techniques! As the battle raged on with both wrestlers getting frustrated not being able to beat the other the action spilled outside of the ring as the 2 wrestlers refused to return to the ring the referee decided to start his 20 count! Lynn & Strong was chopping and slugging it out that security had to separate the 2! (Time of Match 13:09)
As order was restored Roderick Strong stated that Lynn was lucky and next time they meet in the ring he’ll send him packing! Lynn responded saying anytime and place he’ll bring the ass whipping!
TAG TEAM MATCH: 1 Fall, 30 Minutes JONATHAN GRESHAM & JAY LETHAL Defeated SHANE DOUGLAS & CHRIS CANDIDO by Pinfall Both the Triple Threat & The Foundation started where they left off from “The Era of Diehard Begins” brawling before the referee was able to restore order by having both Grace and Franchine escorted to the back after their cat fight. Once order was restored both team managed to have a decent match until the end where mayhem once again happened Douglas used a chain wrapped around his fist to knockout Lethal, as Gresham/Candido brawled, both Francine/Grace managed to comeback out and get involved distracting the referee not seeing Gresham use Douglas’ chain knocking out Candido placing Lethal on top for the win. (Time of Match 18:21)
After the match, a big guy in a Triple Threat Hoodie entered into the ring spearing all 3 members of The Foundation; he unveiled himself……It’s Rhino, he handcuffed both Lethal & Grace… Douglas & Rhino placed Gresham’s arm into a folding steel chair as Candido double stomps the chair from the top rope…..aRichards, Lynn, The Briscoe’s, and security came to the Foundation’s aid as the Triple Threat with its newest member leaves!
INTERMISSION LodiRaider 209 came out thanked the fans and reminded them that on March 16 & 17 will be The Diehard 16 event in NYC & Philadelphia! The owner then unveiled the Diehard Championship Belt and the D-16 Cup that will be up for grabs at the next event!
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes BRYAN KEITH Defeated AUSTIN AIRES by Disqualification The Bounty Hunter frustrated Aires out wrestling the veteran with superior wrestling and arial skills. No matter what Aires could do Keith had an answer for causing Strong to come to the ring interfering making the referee to call for the disqualification! Jerry Lynn came to the ring to even the odds! (Time of Match 10:03)
As Roddy & Aires was leaving LodiRaider 209 met them in the aisle telling them to return to the ring, and ordered the referee to ring the bell………

After the match So-Cal Val caught up with The Bounty Hunter, Keith addressed the fact that he still wants Aires One on one, and the only victory he’ll take over him, is by pinfall or submission!
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes BRIAN CAGE Defeated RICOCHET By Pinfall This was so far 1 of the best matches (I rolled). It was back and forth between these 2 Lucha Underground rivals both hitting dives to the outside on each other during the match, and putting on a classic battle inside. At the end Ricochet had Cage down hits his 630 only for Cage to kick out, then tries a crossbody…..only for Cage to catch him, repositions him, and delivered an F-5 for the win! (Time of Match 16:30)
Rhett Titus bumps into Jay Lethal on his way to the entrance, tells him that he’s still open to rejoining the Foundation, Lethal looks and nods tells him to come see him, after he takes care of business in the ring.
SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes DELIRIOUS Defeated RHETT TITUS By Countout These 2 rivals went at each other tooth and nail hitting each other with every move in their arsenal. As the battle raged on it spilled outside as they brawled, Delirious managed to use his Red Poison Mist to blind Titus, returned inside the ring before the referee counted to 20! (Time of Match 19:11)
After the match Titus still blinded by Delirious’ mist The Triple Threat attacks Titus, Rhino has Titus in a piledriver position, Douglas & Candido are on the middle turnbuckle as the Trio hits the spike piledriver…..Lethal came to the rescue armed with a steel chair as Douglas and crew leaves through the fans and exits the venue.
TAG TEAM MATCH: 1 Fall, 30 Minutes BRISCOE BROTHERS Defeated PHILLY’S MOST WANTED By Pinfall Both teams wrestled and brawled back and forth but it was The Briscoe’s taking charge and dominated the match after BLK Jeez left Joker by himself only for Dem Boys to end it with the Doomsday Device! (Time of Match 15:16)
After Joker left through the fans exiting the venue in search for his partner, WGTT hits the ring to confront the Briscoes only for officials and security kept the wrestlers separated.
MAIN EVENT SINGLES MATCH: 1 Fall, 60 Minutes AJ STYLES Defeated JUSHIN LIGER By Pinfall The 2 wrestlers stared at each other as half the fans was chatting “AJ Styles” the other half of the fans was doing “Jushin Liger”…..the 2 then exchanged holds in a fast pace then paused as the chat started again! It didn’t take long for Styles to resort to some dirty tactics to get an advantage over Liger! At one point it looked like it was over after a Styles Clash, however, it took a while for AJ to cover his opponent as he was mouthing off to the fans and couldn’t get the 3 count! Liger was able to mount some offense, even nailing a spectacular dive over the top ropes onto AJ onto the floor! As the match took a toll on both wrestlers they both used every move in their arsenal and could not get a victory, Styles again had to resort to using a low blow, a torture bomb, and then finished up with a cross body and using a handful of tights to pin the mask star from Japan! (Time of Match 44: 53)
The fans again showing AJ Styles they are disapproval as he gloats that he has beaten one of the best from Japan as we see The Diehard logo to dark……
• Side notes Eddie Edwards will be out with a knee injury (The Era of Diehard Event) until May! Homicide has a slight concussion from LAX’ win over the KOW may return if cleared at the D-16. Diehard officials fined Chris Candido, Rhino, & Shane Douglas $5,000 each for attacking The Foundation after the match, resulting in injuring Gresham’s arm; Gresham will miss The D-16 but will return in time for The Diehard SuperCard event with a elbow brace for 7 cards! Rhino is added to Diehard’s roster, however since he’s yet to compete officially he will not be eligible for the D-16! Philly’s Most Wanted has left Diehard and won’t be eligible to compete in the promotion until Year 3 as they have been indefinitely suspended for violating the promotion’s drug policy.

With The Era Of Diehard Begins & Diehard With A Vengeance done Diehard Wrestling heads towards what will be a 2 night yearly event called The Diehard 16. The D-16 is a single elimination tournament that will determine who will be the inaugural Diehard Champion; the following years will determine who will challenge the Diehard Champion at the annual The Diehard SuperCard event! Round 1 will be 8 matches on night 1 (Terminal 5 in NYC 3/16/Y1), night 2 (The Fillmore in Philly 3/17/Y1) will hold rounds 2, 3, and the finals! The selection of competitors are as follows, there are 8 seeds 6 of which will be determined by what is called the Diehard Top Six, the last 2 remaining seeds 7&8 will be filled by 2 competitors 1 from Japan & the other from the UK. That now leaves 8 spots to be filled, by lottery, 8 unseeded wrestlers will be randomly drawn, each will face a seeded wrestler in the 1st round. Every match will have a winner; incase of a match going the time-limit there will be a judge at ringside to determine who will advance to the next round!
Now here’s more information about the importance of The Diehard Top 6; the DT6 is an important ranking system that determines who can challenge the Diehard Champions, it also increases the importance of wins/loses. Here in Diehard our champions will fight the best challenger(s) in every title match.

You see the big screen (titan-tron) with the D-16 brackets on it, the D-16 Cup on one end of the stage, the Diehard Championship Belt on the other end; as Diehard Wrestling makes their NYC debut to the chat of “This is Diehard…!”
ROUND 1 D-16 TOURNAMENT MATCHES: 1 Fall, 20 MINUTES
(1)AJ STYLES Defeated EL GENERICO By Judges Decision Both wrestlers started the match countering each other’s moves for about 9 minutes. Styles took control after using his favorite offensive move “the low blow” Styles serpent about 6 minutes attacking Generico even bringing out Kevin Steen who was trying to rally his friend Generico! Generico made his comeback using every move he can when the masked man finally got Styles in his BrainBustaaaa before he finished executing the move the bell rang! As the referee was talking to judge Lou Thez Styles made it to his feet, both wrestlers was waiting as So-Cal Val announced the judge’s decision was in favor of AJ Styles! (Time of Match 20:00)
As Stlyes left for the dressing room Generico’s friend Steen was consulting him……… then lays in a low blow on his masked friend; Steen rolled outside the ring placing a table next to the ring………Steen has Generico set up for a piledriver…No, he hits the Package Piledriver threw the table! Lynn, Delirious, and security storms the ring to help the masked man! It was too late as EMTs was brought in, stretchering out Generico!
In the back Homicide was going through concussion protocols since he had 1 on the last card. The doctor who was performing the physical turn to the Diehard official stating that “Homicide had passed and will be able to compete…….Pete Dunn Barges through the door, pushes the official to the side and sucker punched Homicide with a pair of brass knuckles! As the Englishman exits the trainer’s room stating “Now let’s see him pass it again!” As Homicide was laid out the official declared that Dunn will face a replacement! As Dunn entered the ring he demanded the referee start the match then declare him the winner by forfeit……..So-Cal Val then announced that Diehard had chosen Homicide’s replacement………It’s Brian Cage!
(8)PETE DUNN Defeated BRIAN CAGE by Pinfall Cage took the early advantage as Dunn was protesting to the referee; The Machine tried to end it face as he was able to use Weapon’s X for a near fall. Dunn tried exiting the ring to stall but Cage showed he more than just a power wrestler hits a over the top rope dive onto the floor onto Dunn, but tweaked his knee on the landing. After both wrestlers returned to the ring Cage continued his assault and favored his knee until Dunn used the injury to his advantage. After working over Cage for a bit Dunn had to use The Bitter End twice to score the victory! (Time of Match 16:31)
So-Cal Val interviewed Dunn, who stated that after he wins this Yankee championship he’s taking in by to the UK and that’s where he’ll defend his championship and there’s going to be nothing any of the blokes in the back can do about it! SHELTON BENJAMIN Defeated (3) DAVEY RICHARDS By Pinfall Benjamin & Richards put on a classic match mixed with some aerial maneuvers, submission holds, Chain wrestling/catch as catch can. One point of the match Richards worked over Benjamin’s arm hoping to gain a submission. Benjamin even with favoring the arm that was worked on by Richards, managed to not only make a comeback, but hit his Pay Dirt from nowhere during an exchange that almost earned him a victory. The closing of the match saw Richards miss a lariat, Benjamin connected with a super kick, then a spring board clothesline, and hit a second Pay Dirt for the win! (Time of Match 18:54)
In the back you see a Diehard Official come out of the trainers room followed by El Generico being stretchered out to the ambulance. Delirious comes up to the Official; who’s confused by the masked man’s gibberish, Delirious then hand the Official a signed contract clearly saying Steen! The Official tells the masked man, Kevin Steen is not a member of the roster, and a match with him would be under Proving Ground Rules!
(6)JOSH ALEXANDER Defeated CHRIS CANDIDO By Pinfall Both wrestlers went at it tooth and nail Candido shockingly keeping up with Alexander hold for hold. Candido taking a page from his partner’s book (Douglas) pulled a chain from his boot gained the advantage with the object. Candido had Alexander down and out after a baseball slide then climbed up to the top turnbuckle, Alexander got up, Candido jumps off the turnbuckle with a crossbody press….From nowhere Alexander side stepped and used Candido’s momentum and hit a cutter, hooked a leg and scored the Pinfall on Candido. (Time of Match 17:15) Alexander talked to So-Cal Val stating he’s heading to Philly to win that belt (pointing to it) and he’ll be the 1st to wear it, and wear it proudly!
(4)JAY LETHAL Defeated JERRY LYNN By Submission The 2 wrestlers exchanged handshakes and then engaged in a session of excellent chain wrestling with neither gaining the advantage which lead to another showing of respect with a handshake. Lynn managed to control the match until a mistimed dive attempt when Lethal side stepped and Lynn went head 1st into the guardrail busting him open. Shortly afterwords Lethal connected with his Lethal Injection which Lynn kicked out of the pin attempt, only for him to pass out to the Koji Clutch! (Time of Match 15:54)
Lethal helped Lynn up and to the dressing room as a promo plays April 5th The Diehard SuperCard, 2300 Arena, Philadelphia!
(5)RODERICK STRONG Defeated AUSTIN AIRES By Pinfall This was a really close match between these 2 allies one point Aires nailed his 450 and came close to getting the win, only for Strong to kick out. Strong managed to use his backbreakers to set up the Sick Kick but not able to put away Aires. As the match reached the 16 minute mark the 2 wrestlers was engaged in a terrific showing for match move for move until Roddy caught A Double by surprise using a backslide to score the pin! (Time of Match 17:04)
After the match you can see that Aires was not happy but still gave respect to his friend/ally by not only shaking his hand, but raising it declaring he has won this match. So-Cal Val talked to both wrestlers, Strong stated that if/when he wins the belt he’ll give Aires a title shot. Aires responded by telling Strong if that happens he’ll walk away as champion then leaves.
SHANE DOUGLAS Defeated (7)TIGER MASK By Pinfall Tiger dominated this match from the beginning using his speed and highflying ability to his advantage, Douglas would show signs of an offense only for his masked opponent to take back the advantage. As it looked like Tiger was going for the win Chris Candido came to ringside along with Francine distracted the referee as Rhino snuck in and Gored the mask man setting up Douglas to end the match with the Pittsburgh Plunge! (Time of Match 18:04)
Douglas was celebrating until he went on a verbal assault on Diehard, Lethal/The Foundation, and how he’d change Diehard when he becomes champion!
(2)BRYAN KEITH Defeated HERNANDEZ By Pinfall Keith’s speed kept Hernandez off balance for a bit, however Super-Mex’ blend of power with surprising speed/agility took over. Towards the end of the match Hernandez was getting a little cocky as he delivered his Super Border Toss, strutting around the rain before going for the cover….. it costed him as Keith was able to kick out, Hernandez again, went on the offense, only for Keith to live up to the moniker “Quickest Kick In The South” nails the spinning heel-kick for the shocking victory! (Time of Match 19:10)
As Keith was celebrating his victory, Went to the stage as the the other seven wrestlers that will advance to tomorrow nights conclusion of the tournament joins him! As a competition is fierce in this tournament, you see the eight wrestlers start shoving each other as security rushes in to separate the wrestlers as you see the Diehard Logo to dark!

(1)AJ STYLES Defeated (8)PETE DUNN By Pinfall This match started on the inside with both wrestlers exchanging holds, and punches. Both wrestlers managed to get 2 counts on each before the action spilled outside where Styles used the timekeeper’s bell to blast Dunn busting open the Brit before using the Styles Clash for the win! (Time of Match 23:12)
AJ was interviewed by So-Cal Val as he was informed that Diehard has brought in a special referee to call the championship/final match! Styles stated that it doesn’t matter who this special referee is, what matters is the 1st Diehard Champion will be Phenomenal!
(6)JOSH ALEXANDER Defeated SHELTON BENJAMIN By Pinfall These 2 put on a classic match going back and forth throughout the match. Benjamin countered Alexander’s moves vice versa Alexander countered Benjamin as well. This match spilled outside where both wrestlers frustration sat in as a brawled, leading to Benjamin to hit his Pay Dirt with only getting a 2 and ¾ count. Benjamin continued his assault only to miss a moonsault attempt which allowed Alexander to rally and hit his C-4 Spike for the win! (Time of Match 24:07)
After the match Benjamin’s partner Charlie Haas stormed the ring attacking Alexander as WGTT was double teaming Alexander, Petey Williams jumps the guardrails entering the ring as the 2 Canadians brawled to the back with Benjamin & Haas!
(5)JAY LETHAL Defeated (6)RODERICK STRONG By Submission The 2 familiar rivals exchanged holds throughout this match with no one getting a real advantage! When the action spilled out onto the floor Strong got the advantage mid way into the match almost scoring the victory numerous times! Towards the 25 minute mark Strong was getting frustrated with not being able to put away Lethal, mistimed a shoulder block in the corner as Lethal moved, Strong hits between the turnbuckles and nails the post setting up for a Lethal Injection and the loss! (Time of Match 25:48)
After the match Lethal joined Excalibur & Striker at the announcer’s table to call the next match. Bryan Keith made his entrance stops at the announcer’s table for a brief stair down with Lethal causing Douglas to run in and attack Keith from behind!
(2)BRYAN KEITH Defeated SHANE DOUGLAS By Pinfall The Franchise’s pre-match attack gave Douglas the advantage in the match early on. Keith managed to rally back to the point Candido & Rhino came down to the ring area, only to be met by Lethal & Titus as they evened the odds as Keith was able to put away the Franchise after a rodeo DDT! (Time of Match 17:23)
The ring is being set up for some kind of interview segment. Kevin Steen strolls out and enters the ring! Steen welcomes the fans to “The Kevin Steen Show!” Informs the fans that he had purchased this time during this event to publicly answer Delirious’ challenge as he shows a clipboard with the contract on it! he says before he was to sign it he added some stipulations, actually only one stipulation……El Generico must be at ringside; “To witness his friend losing his spot on the roster!”….He goes on to sign the contract and says challenge accepted as this match is the first match signed for The Diehard SuperCard, on April 5!
SEMI FINALS D-16 TOURNAMENT MATCHES: 1 Fall, 45 Minutes (6)JOSH ALEXANDER Defeated (1)AJ STYLES By Judge’s Decision A 1st time match between these 2 was slow moving at the start as the wrestlers were feeling each other out. Styles got the advantage 1st striking with his Pele Kick and a Styles Clash, he arrogantly covered Alexander for a 2 count only. Alexander managed to make a comeback hitting a C4 Spike but Styles having excellent ring presence placed his foot on the rope! The 2 wrestlers traded advantages and pin attempts heading into the closing moments of the match; Alexander hit the torture rack bomb and quickly locked in his Ankle Lock. You can see the pain in Styles’ face as it looks like he’s about to tap out the bell rings…..Styles starts tapping out….Alexander raises his hands in victory as the referee talks to Lou Thez! So-Cal Van announced winner by Judge’s decision….Josh Alexander! (Time of Match 45:00)
The 2 wrestlers had to be restrained by security as they wanted to continue the fight! You can hear Styles tell Alexander; the next time they met, he’ll send his overrated ass back to Canada!
(5)JAY LETHAL Defeated (2)BRYAN KEITH By Pinfall The 2 wrestlers exchanged chops, slaps, and punches at the start of the match. Lethal took control and almost got a win after hitting Hail To The King but Keith showed his toughness! The match was getting exciting as both wrestlers were close to beating the other on several occasions but Lethal took out the Bounty Hunter after hitting his Diving Dynamite! (Time of Match 30:30)
After the match both wrestlers exchanged a handshake/hug as Lethal whispered into Keith’s ear as the 2 nodding and acknowledging each other’s greatness!
NON-TOURNAMENT TAG TEAM PROVING GROUND MATCH: 1 Fall, 20 Minutes BAD BOY TITO & RICO DYNAMITE Defeated BEST FRIENDS By Pinfall The 2 teams battled back and forth for the entire match neither gained any advantage. 1 point in the match Taylor hits Rico with the Awful Waffle only for Shelly Martinez to place Rico’s foot on the rope. At the end Taylor had the momentum going his way only for Rico & Tito to turn the momentum their way hitting a double flapjack, setting up the F-5 from Tito for the win! (Time of Match 17:24)
After the match Hernandez & Homicide hits the ring brawling with Tito & Rico as the 4 wrestlers exit the venue taking their fight onto the street as law enforcement placed the wrestlers under arrest! As the excitement from the last match settled you see LodiRaider 209 holding the Diehard Championship Belt! You hear the familiar sounds of bagpipes and snare drums as “The Hot Rod” Rowdy Roddy Piper is introduced by So-Cal Val as the special referee for the final match of the D-16! Josh Alexander & Jay Lethal made their entrance as So-Cal Val does the formal introduction:
“The following is the Finals of The Diehard 16; and to determine the Diehard Champion! This match is 1 fall, to a finish! From Toronto, Canada; “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander……….His opponent from Elizabeth, NJ, this is Jay Lethal!”
The 2 wrestlers walks to the center of the ring where Piper shows them the belt, and gives his fight instructions:
“This is a championship match, you’ll do whatever it takes to win, there will be no judge for this match, no time-limit, and this match will end with a champion!”
DiEHARD CHAMPIONSHIP/ D-16 TOURNAMENT FINAL MATCH: 1 Fall, To A Finish (Special Referee RODDY PIPER) (6)JOSH ALEXANDER Defeated (5)JAY LETHAL By Pinfall to win The Diehard Championship/D-16 Cup At the beginning of the match both wrestlers exchanged holds which gave Alexander the early advantage as he out wrestled Lethal and almost scored an early pin. Lethal capitalized on a mistimed crossbody hitting the Lethal Injection but only getting a 2 count from Piper. The match did spill out of the ring during which Piper told the wrestlers he’s only going to count pins and submissions, and those only count in the ring. Lethal gained the advantage when the match returned inside the ring hitting a 2nd Lethal Injection again Alexander had escaped the pin attempt. As the match went on the 2 was hitting every move in their arsenal, Alexander hits the C-4 Spike Lethal kicks out, Lethal hit Hail To The King and Alexander kicks out; as the match reached past an hour; Alexander tried a hip toss, Lethal blocks and tried one of his own….Alexander countered and uses a backslide; Piper makes the count…1…2…3! (Time of Match 65:03)
After the match Lethal raised Alexander’s arm and victory, and left the ring to give the new Diehard Champion his time in the spotlight as LodiRaider 209 hands the champion his title belt and the sterling silver D-16 Cup; as streamers and confetti rain down on the new champion you see the Diehard logo as we go to dark.

March 18, Year 1: JOSH ALEXANDER WINS THE D-16, BECOMING THE INAUGURAL DiEHARD CHAMPION It was a tough road that lead Josh Alexander to gold in Diehard! 1st Alexander had to wrestle 2 Proving Ground Matches to earn a spot on Diehard’s roster, then defeated 4 wrestlers in the D-16, The Walking Weapon proved that he’s the best in Diehard/The World. Alexander’s reign has just begun and the challengers are lining up; and The Diehard SuperCard is fast approaching!
March 22, Year 1: THE DiHARD SUPERCARD PRESS CONFERENCE
The press conference stage is set up as the media has gathered at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena (site of The Diehard SuperCard.) You hear the buzz and excitement as the Main Event will be announced! LodiRaider takes the stage welcoming the media as AJ Styles, Jay Lethal, Bryan Keith, and the Diehard Champion Josh Alexander (the final 4 from D-16) takes their seat at the table. LodiRaider explains that the main event of such a card will always be highlighted by the Diehard Championship Match, and these three wrestlers (Styles, Lethal, & Keith) are all worthy contenders to face Alexander. So in order to be fair, to the 3 wrestlers they will do combat in a 3 Way Elimination Match at The Diehard SuperCard, where the winner will face Josh Alexander in the Main Event for the Diehard Championship! In fairness since the 3 wrestlers will open The Diehard SuperCard in hopes to main event later in the night; Josh Alexander has offered to wrestle early on the event as well; The Canadian Wreckin’ Crew (Alexander/ Petey Williams) will face Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team at The Diehard SuperCard!
