Paul Orndorff and Adrian Adonis with Bobby Heenan vs Jack and Jerry Brisco

Referee Morgan Dollar calls all 4 men to the center of the ring to go over the rules of the match. All 4 men shake hands.

Orndorf and Jerry start us off. A quick tag leads to a double tackle, With Jack now legal. Jack hits a dropkick, then applies FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! Heenan successfully distracts the ref, as Orndorff gets out of the hold.

Jack hits a suplex assortment, then a ROLLING REVERSE CRADLE, which brings Heenan back up on the apron to distract Ref Dollar again.

Orndorff able to tag Adonis in. Jack hits deep arm drags on Adonis, then another ROLLING REVERSE CRADLE for a pin (p3r6)

Jack tags in Jerry. Jerry hits a big knee drop, then locks in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Heenan tries to interfere, but Jerry whips Heenan into Adonis for a big collision! Heenan falls out of the ring, FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK is applied to Adonis!! Jack cuts Paul off from breaking the submission!

(p7r2) Adonis submits to the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!! The Briscos have won!

Anyone have tag team suggestions for 2025?

Too early to give many suggestions but Mongols along with Doring and Roadkill are getting color releases. Both teams would add to the roster. Maybe replace different teams for every first round loser.

I have some teams that have lost in the first round the last 2 years that are definitely getting cycled out. How would you feel about AMW being added?

Thanks for looking for input but adding a handful of AEW teams would work. Maybe give a spot to a top team from AEW with a 3 or 4 playoff spots to see who makes the cut. I admit I do not follow AEW closely but it is your tournament. All in good fun, you know?

I quit doing long tag tournaments because I am not a huge tag fan. However your tournament is nice and back in previous incarnations of the board ran a few March Madness to spread out the action. Divided 24 teams by North, South, East and West. Best two teams would earn a bye: for example Valiants and Bulldogs earned the East bye with Bees, Fuji- Saito, Dream Team and Quebecers duking it out to advance to Sweet 16. The North bracket would feature mostly AWA and some WWF teams and so on.

Also in homage to soccer ran a World Cup style back in B/W days but since most of the Japanese or Mexican wrestlers have not gone to color I stopped that. Used a 3 team round robin to advance to 8 team knockout . Did this once. Hope I did not make this post too long.
