2024 March Madness Tag Team Tournament

The March Madness Tag Team Tournament returns! With 32 tag teams fighting for supremacy, and bragging rights, in the LOW Universe. Pat Patterson and Ray Stevens (Blond Bombers) defeated the James Gang to win the inaugural tourney. Can the Blond Bombers become the two time tournament champions? Or will another team play spoiler? Tune in right here, as we release more information on the tournament, and the tag teams. Get ready for March Madness!

The Blond Bombers, Ray Stevens and Pat Patterson, winners of the 2023 March Madness Tag Team Tournament, will be given the choice of which bracket they want to participate in, and the opponents they will face in the first round.  The Bombers have chosen the A bracket. Let's roll out the full A bracket listing of teams:

Morgan Dollar is the official for all the matches. No DQ after the first round. Randomizer chooses Quarter and Semi-Final matches in each bracket. We will complete one bracket completely, before moving on to the next.

Blond Bombers vs Buddy Rose and Doug Somers

Rose and Stevens to start the match. Rose wins initiative. Stevens ducks a haymaker, and grabs an arm drag, that Rose reverses out of. Rose hits a jumping elbow, then hits his own version of Bombs Away! Rose connects on a vertical suplex, but Stevens tags pat Patterson in. 

Patterson hits a throat drop on top rope on Rose, he covers for a pin, but Somers breaks up the pin attempt. Patterson connects on a clothesline from the top rope, then BOMBS AWAY! Somers breaks up the another pin attempt. 

BOMBS AWAY again by Patterson (p8r7) and this match is over!

Texas Hangmen vs Ivan and Nikita Koloff

Ivan and Psycho to start. Psycho wins the initiative. Psycho with a boot to the stomach of Ivan. Ivan takes over, and chokes Psycho in the ropes, but Psycho sends Ivan into the corner, Psycho tries a running clothesline, Ivan moves, and Psycho crashes hard into the turnbuckle! 

Ivan covers, Killer tries to break the pin up, but Nikita cuts him off! (p4r6) Ivan hits a Russian Hammer! Psycho bails out of the ring. Ivan picks up a chair, but Dollar threatens the DQ, Ivan throws Psycho back in the ring. RUSSIAN SICKLE! Nikita cuts Killer off again from breaking up the pin attempt, Ivan covers (p7r5) Koloffs advances!!!

The Fantastics vs Kevin Sullivan and Maha Singh

Sullivan and Rogers to start. Sullivan gets the upper hand early. Sullivan with karate chops, and a released gut wrench. Sullivan ties Rogers up in the Tree of Woe, hits another released gut wrench, that leads to a pin, but both partners run in, as Dollar is trying to get Singh out, Fulton drops an elbow on Sullivan, and puts Rogers on top for the pin! (p3r8) Sullivan with the kick out. Tag to Fulton as they hit FANTASTIC FLIP.

Singh in to break up that pin attempt. Sullivan reverses a hip toss and hits a hooking clothesline. Sullivan tags Singh in. Singh connects on a POWER SLAM on Fulton, then a jumping knee smash. Singh goes for a cover, Sullivan cuts Rogers off, (p3r8)Singh with SHOULDER BREAKER, but Rogers in to break the pin attempt up. Singh throws Fulton out of the ring, Singh hits Fulton with a falling chop from the apron and throws Fulton back in. SHOULDER BREAKER connects again (p5r5).

Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody vs Paul Orndorff and Adrian Adonis with Bobby The Brain Heenan

Morgan Dollar, the referee, is worried about outside interference, he bans Heenan from ringside, and orders him to the back before this match will start! Security and staff have to drag him away! Orndorff and Snuka start us off in the middle of the ring. Snuka gains early control. Orndorff reverses using an eye gouge,  misses a back elbow, and Snuka catches him with a vicious chop!  Backbreaker gets Snuka an early pin attempt (p2r7) Orndorf kicks out.       

Snuka throws Orndorff out of the ring, but Orndorff grabs Snuka's leg, drags him, slams it into the turnbuckle post! Orndorff throws Snuka back in the ring, Orndorff hits a stalling vertical suplex, goes for the pin, but Brody is in to break up the pin attempt. Orndorff climbs up to the top turnbuckle, but Snuka slams him down hard to the middle of the ring. Orndorff crawls to tag in Adrian Adonis.  Snuka reverses out of Adrian's knee lift, hits a piledriver, Snuka goes up top, SUPERFLY LEAP connects! Brody keeps Orndorff from breaking the pin attempt up, (p6r9) Adonis able to kick out! 

Snuka throws Adonis out of the ring, he decides not to risk a DQ, so he throws him back in the ring, but Adonis tags Orndorff in. Orndorff hits a neck breaking clothesline, stalling vertical suplex again, Orndorff connects with JUMPING PILEDRIVER, PIN! (p5r6) 

Orndorff picks Snuka up, he hits a short arm clothesline, another pin attempt, (p5r11) Orndorff misses an elbow, Snuka tags Brody in! Bruiser Backbreaker gets a quick pin attempt by Brody, (p3r6) Orndorff reverses momentum, hits brutal knee lifts on Brody for a pin attempt, (p2r7). JUMPING PILEDRIVER on Brody connects! PIN (p5r4). Orndorff pins Brody!

Heenan comes back out, and celebrates with his team!

Singh and Patterson start the match. Patterson gains momentum early. Singh thrown into the turnbuckle, Patterson hits a neck breaking clothesline and BOMBS AWAY!

Stevens cuts off Sullivan, Patterson covers for the pin (p6r3) and this match is over!

Ivan and Nikita Koloff vs Paul Orndorff and Adrian Adonis with Bobby Heenan

Adonis and Nikita to start off. Adonis hits a knee lift, that seemed to wake Nikita up. Nikita with a Russian Backbreaker, followed by a flying shoulder tackle. Nikita throws Adonis out of the ring, he slams Adrian face first into the announce table, no dq called for.

Back in the ring, Adonis out of nowhere hits GOODNIGHT IRENE, quick pin (p3r6) Nikita kicks out! Orndorff tagged in. Ivan tagged in. Running elbow catches Ivan. Orndorff catches Ivan with a neck breaking clothesline.

JUMPING PILEDRIVER on Ivan! Nikita breaks up the pin attempt! Brutal knee lifts by Orndorff, JUMPING PILEDRIVER again! Adonis cuts off Nikita, (p7r5) and this match is over!

Orndorff and Patterson to start. Orndorff gains early momentum, takes Pat down with a big shoulder tackle. Orndorff with brutal knee lifts, JUMPING PILEDRIVER connects, Adonis cuts off Stevens (p4r7) kick out by Patterson.

Orndorff slows it down, with punches and kicks to Patterson. Patterson catches Orndorff with a kick in the corner, then a neck breaking clothesline!

Out of the ring they go, and Patterson slams Orndorff on the concrete! Back in the ring, Pat catches Orndorff with a flying clothesline from the top! Figure four leglock, Orndorffs shoulders go down (p3r8) Patterson catches Orndorff with an atomic drop,then an airplane spin with another pin attempt (p4r6) Orndorff does kick out.

Orndorff finally tags in Adonis. Adonis connects with a scoop slam, then GOODNIGHT IRENE! Orndorff cuts off Stevens (p5r6) Adrian follows up with a suplex assortment and another pin (p6r8) Patterson still able to kick out!

Adonis connects with a bulldog headlock, but Patterson finally tags in Stevens! Stevens hits CRIPPLING PILEDRIVER for a pin (p3r7) then BOMBS AWAY (p5r7) Adonis barely kicks out!

Double team attack brings Stevens back in. He connects on BOMBS AWAY on Adonis! He covers, but Orndorff breaks up the pin attempt! Patterson applies the Boston Crab, but Adonis gets to the ropes. Tag to Orndorff! Tag to Stevens!

Brutal knee lifts to Stevens, short arm clothesline, pin, (p2r6) Orndorff with JUMPING PILEDRIVER!!!(p5r8) Stevens with the kickoff!

Up top, Orndorff connects on a flying clothesline another pin attempt,(p5r6) Stevens battles back with a double underhook suplex, then a CRIPPLING PILEDRIVER, Heenan is up on the apron to distract the referee, Orndorff with more brutal knee lifts, Stevens goes out of the ring, Orndorff tries to use a chair, but Morgan Dollar stops him, he tosses Stevens back in the ring.

Stevens tags Patterson in!Patterson locks in Boston Crab! Orndorff reaches the ropes (p5r11) Crossbody and a pin on Orndorff (p6r11). They go outside, Orndorff wins the wild brawl.

Back inside the ring, JUMPING PILEDRIVER and pin (p8r4) and this match is over!
