Looks like I have something to listen to while I roll out the last 2 cards in my Fed for Black Death 2129 this weekend!
(BTW, since I mentioned it, my fed has played out exemplarily in 2129...likely close to as Tom envisioned it. Black Death Endgame has been DOMINATE, Bex has been darn near unbeatable as the IP Champ, BUT Sur and Ghena have both dropped so many match that the Black Death wrestlers who are tied to Black Death Powers have been losing darn near every match because the Black Death Powers have been WEAK on almost every card! Add to that End of Days's weakening status (as described in the handbook)...it has lined up to be a fitting end to the Black Death years...from seeing them completely dominant to floundering is Galactic Poetic Justice!!!!!)

Finishing up the episode tonight.
I miss Brian doing the 605 podcast because I loved the obscure guys in there, but the one time I FFed thru an interview? Just like @stu said: That John Hitchcock guy. Totally annoying and full of himself. Can you image going to a Crockett show in the 80s and those clowns were disrupting the show the entire time trying to get themselves over?
They wouldve caused me to quit going. Excellent call Stu!

I actually got into it with Hitchcock on Facebook because I didn't and don't believe his story about Masked Superstar beating up Magnum T.A. in the ring because Dusty asked him to put Magnum over. I don't know if that's necessarily a *proud* thing to throw virtual hands over, but it was pretty obvious BS on the surface until I get some corroboration from a reliable source.
I feel the same way about Scott Hudson and the other Atlanta Boys who made nuisances of themselves at Center Stage tapings.

I haven't read (and now definitely won't read) Hitchcock's book but I remember listening to him on the 6:05. At the time, I remember thinking he seemed to be his biggest fan but I thought I was being narrow-minded. Now hearing from Bob and others, I guess I wasn't that wrong.

I know this is corny, but I went to the Louisville Gardens up until 96 and one of the best things is people didn't break kayfabe there. You'd see people cheering the good guys and booing bad guys. I do miss that

Here in the Tampa Bay area where I am staying this weekend, so far I have heard about half of this episode. I really liked the discussion about baseball (which I listened to while placing my online order for a ticket to tonight's Blue Jays/Rays game) and about playing Strat. However, I personally really enjoy deathmatch wrestling.
Looking forward to hearing the second half after the game tonight.
