According to PW Insider, the company has cut the Tate Twins (Dalton Castle’s Boys), Anthony Henry, Dasha Fuentes, Gravity, Slim J, Parker Boudreaux, Jose The Assistant, Jorda Johl, and Stu Grayson.

Shows how little I know. I recognize the first name and the last. Everything in between makes me feel like Bazzy. By the way one name is missing. They released me but they are not making it public.

They made a big point of resigning Stu Grayson, split him off from Dark Order immediately and then forgot him after a decent Fight Without Honor between The Righteous and Dark Order.
It's a shame that during one of the very few storylines they have on ROH TV, they got rid of The Boys rather than give a pay off at Supercard of Honor.
The most disappointing one is Anthony Henry. He injured his quite seriously recently, which puts him off TV already, they they started selling a t-shirt with the x-ray of his injury on, and then let him go.
It's never nice to see people lose their jobs, but those ones stood out to me.

Yeah feels they did Stu dirty. When WWE does this people are up in arms, when AEW does it, most just shrug and act like they're different from WWE when they're more alike than either side wants to admit.

Slim J has tweeted about his release today. Basically said his gimmick was rubbish and he knew it, but he tried to make the best of it with his in ring work. Also said he has been working a second full time job outside of wrestling as he is broke and is now looking a "second, second job".
Meanwhile, Anthony Henry is saying he may be done with wrestling.

Tony Khan was asked about some of the releases today on the media call for the ROH event. Apparently The Boys had failed to show up for dates, which makes sense that they were released in the end.
He's also said Anthony Henry will be back when he is healthy again. That does raise more questions than provide answers in terms of why they have released him, but I guess it could well be down to the response they have had on social media since the news came out.

TK talked about building a "war chest". Anyone think we'll see "DM Hunk" in AEW?

TK talked about building a "war chest". Anyone think we'll see "DM Hunk" in AEW? McIntyre, Becky, and Seth all have their contracts expiring soon. Not saying any of them will jump, or should jump, or are likely to jump. But Tony probably has to at least get them to listen to an offer. Even if it's just something to take back to WWE and say, "Here, match or top this." (Becky, at least, sounds like she has a third option, which is to just not sign with anybody and be a mom for at least a while.) Sheamus' contract is coming up too, but I dunno about AEW locking up a guy like that long-term. Sheamus is great but he's long in the tooth and I don't know if AEW needs another old WWE veteran who's clearly never going to be a top guy again (in either company) on the roster. He'd be of better use as an occasional one-off a la Erick Rowan/Redbeard. All that said, I dunno how releasing a few ROH guys helps you fill that war chest. I feel like he'd be better off letting Miro go.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sheamus reunite with Claudio one more time before calling it a career.
