I look at it more like Warhammer 40K Orks. They are all individuals, yes, but they have an overarching kind of psychic field that unites them all and drives them toward one goal, for both Orks and Aethrans it's violence and warfare.

That's an interesting point of view and kind of like saying Marvel should ditch the Avengers and X-Men and DC ditch the Justice League and start over. They haven't done that for a reason and probably the same reason as mine. It's an integral part of our universe. That doesn't mean new groups and storylines can't be added, but that it's a balancing act. It's an interesting discussion. But Marvel, at least last I was following, had the "floating timeline" (the creation of the Fantastic Four was always 10 years ago in Marvel time, and everything that happens continues to cram into that timeframe) and the GWF doesn't--it ostensibly operates in real time with wrestlers and characters aging. Peter Parker may go from being a college kid to being married (until a dumb editorial decision undoes that, but nevermind) but we're probably never going to see him age into being his Uncle Ben and put his false teeth into a glass of water before going to bed, either. |

Want to see the GWF embrace Kronos and reopen the portal for a crossover story. Let’s pit Cosmos, Omega, Pegasus and the rest of the current Kronos legends roster against the best of the GWF. Kronos is the Legends of Wrestling of the GWF and a whole legion of legends is waiting for you to let them fight for the greatest fans in the galaxy forever, just like Superman, Batman, Spider-Man etc… |

I don't think we need to replace "factions" just need to move on. I want to see Scion Nexus take over the titans, Saber was good move for hitmen, new Ani men team, new colonizer team and new federation defense fighters but moved on from Sam & Massif.
I think instead of Kronos we need to see Centras timeline of this dimension. Like a 2087 with the hit man looking Star Warrior and that alternate timeline.
