Also, the Centra storyline initially was where I fell off in my first playing time, and when I took a like 15 year break. It just seemed too weird for me. Same with me. I haven't regularly played COTG since. Went to Legends & then Indies as well. I still get all of the COTG sets and wasn't a fan of rehashing all of the classic characters like Exo-king, Killer Queen, Bishop Hell, Mayhem, Chaos, etc |

So much good stuff, great storylines, characters. Considering the amount of time that the game has existed and all the editions it is remarkable that there are so few things I don't like.
That being said I really did not like Greg Valentine being part of the GWF roster in late 2100s, early 2110s. Just bringing a real wrestler into the GWF universe did not seem right. At the time I worried it might happen more and more. Thankfully it didn't

Thankfully it didn't It's funny you mention this, I never liked Greg Valentine either but for some reason I was okay with Mike Fortune because I never saw him on tv so it was easier to imagine him in the future. |

I feel like one of the few Promoters who didn't mind Valentine in the GWF. I liked him precisely because he didn't "fit," if that makes sense. It made him unique. I liked Avalanche more and wouldn't have minded more clones, but Valentine was an interesting novelty. I wasn't so sure about him as a HitMan for Hire, though.
