I know she was in the Royal RumbLe earlier this year, but it was nevertheless a big surprise to me to see TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace appear on NXT tonight and receive a title shot against NXT Womens Champion Roxanne Perez in 2 weeks at NXT Battleground here in Las Vegas. Jordynne Grace also has a match on NXT next week against Stevie Turner which she (Grace) is obviously going to win.
Also on the show, Ethan Page made his WWE debut and it is rumored Ricky Starks might also be in WWE soon.
According to PCO on Facebook, WWE and TNA are collaborating and there is expected to be some NXT talent appearing in TNA in the future.

Is this, is this the end of the world?
Seriously this is very cool. Perhaps HHH being in charge, or someone in TKO, is a good thing. They are seeing what I have said for years. Instead of destroying competition to save you piece of the pie you work with them to help make the pie bigger. This is much like the NFL working with the UFL. WWE will help TNA get more exposure and WWE could potentially get TV ready talent who are ready to move to the big leagues. Better for WWE that TNA works with them than AEW. Happy that Page is in the E but wanted him back in TNA. But who knows with this we might see him in WWE and TNA.

Its really cool, I am glad these folks are able to get off the sinking WCW...I mean AEW ship. Hopefully WWE helps build up TNA to be a good alternative, healthy friendly competition builds up wrestling!

I think with his TNA background that Ethan Page especially is a really good candidate to be one of the NXT talents who is rumored to appear soon in TNA. Perhaps at Slammiversary next month, Page and Josh Alexander either wrestle each other or reform The North for a tag match?

The WWE/TNA relationship is cool. Hopefully PCO makes an appearance or two for the WWE.

I do not follow NXT much these days and was not sure who Roxanne Perez was. I forgot she was the ROH Women's Champion when Deonna Purrazzo challenged her to a title unification match as Deonna was the AAA champion. That match took place on Impact. So, she has a small connection to TNA. Perez will have her work cut out for her taking on the Juggernaut.

Always like seeing Jordynne on WWE, and word is she's getting paid a tidy fee for the three appearances this time, which is great to hear! Also really excited for Ethan Page as well. It was such a shame things just didn't figure out for him at AEW, I thought he was on to a winner after the world title challenge against MJF in Canada because his promo and performance for it was so good. It is cool to see someone like him get the chance to shine on another massive stage though!

Am I the only one who wants to see NXT Champ Trick Willy walk into the Impact Zone to challenge TNA Champ Moose?
TNA fans can chant "Whoop That Trick!" while Rehwoldt does Booker's "What? Uh-huh. I like it. Oh yeah man!" schtick.

Hearing the response for Grace tonight on NXT and a short T N A chant were nice to hear. I doubt she will win at the PPV but she will have a good showing. So, TNA wrestlers have defended or wrestled for titles involving AEW, ROH, NJPW and NXT over last couple years. TNA is in the middle of the wrestling universe.

Yeah, I wanted to go to the NXT PPV here in Las Vegas this Sunday but the UFC venue only seats about 300 people and the cheapest seat was almost $300. I still almost bought a ticket, but I am glad I did not as I found out today that tomorrow will be my final day teaching Summer school as they are sending most of the teachers home since most of the students are finishing their computer-based classes early. I will watch the show on Peacock.
