With all the executives leaving or being relieved of their duties in TNA does anyone else feel we are watching the end of TNA as we know it? I know Scott D'Amore is trying to get a new promotion up and running now. So if TNA does get sold to WWE by Anthem (last I looked TNA doesn't have events booked past the first couple of days of August).
I'm all for WWE reaching out to other promotions and I like the use of Jordynne Grace in NXT, I just hope this partnering doesn't end with TNA going the way of ECW and WCW, plus the other tape library's WWE has acquired over the years.

While I can't dismiss this completely I do not see it happening. Why go thru the name change back to TNA if they were planning on selling? Who has been released other then Scott? As far as Scott I think there is more to that than we have heard. The schedule only being thru August is SOP for them. For years they have events set for only 3 months out or so. Probably gives them flexibility of where they can go to tap into hot markers and get better deals on venue rentals.

Dave Sahadi, who held the post of Creative Director for TNA Wrestling, is now gone from the promotion. He directed TNA broadcasts for 18 years under prior ownerships and was a Creative Director for WWE before that. RD Evans, who was considered head of creative and also a Producer, has also left. According to one key source, Evans’ working relationship with the company had become strained in recent weeks, with him coming off as “obviously increasingly frustrated.” Lou D'Angeli, remembered as "Sign Guy Dudley" in ECW, and later a marketing director in WWE, has left TNA Wrestling. He served as the Vice President of Marketing for Anthem Entertainment. According to PWInsider, his departure was mutually agreed upon after a meeting with Anthem executives last week. Mike Krewson, the director for touring in TNA, has left the company. Krewson had been with the company since 2014 and had previously worked for them from 2008 to 2013. There's four names that have left the company in recent weeks.

There's four names that have left the company in recent weeks. Could be a bad sign. Could be a good sign. Depends on who replaces them. D'Angeli was an Anthem guy before working with TNA if I recall right. So, his leaving is about more than TNA as if they were just cleaning house in TNA they would have moved him back to a position with Anthem. It is possible Anthem wants some new direction in the company. WWE has gone thru periods with turnover before. Some of which was for the better and some was far from it (talking about you ya soap opera writers). I posted in the TNA thread that staring today they will be streaming Impact as the same time as it is on TV. It got me thinking that maybe part of that move was from their new relationship with WWE. As we know a lot of viewing is moving to streaming. The NBA just signed a huge deal that involves a lot of games being streamed and of course the NFL has been testing the waters with TNF. Perhaps WWE wants to and part of their working with TNA is to see how it works by having TNA go straight streaming. WWE could back TNA if there are any financial losses as they would of course be much lower for TNA than for WWE if they were to happen. I guess we will just have to wait and see. As the old saying goes, time will tell.

I realized how smart a move this is for WWE. What they are doing is giving a wrestler a tryout without a commitment to see how they do and how the fans react to them. This way if when her contract is up they want to offer her a deal they already have an idea of how to bring her in. This saves time and money of putting someone thru their training school if the talent has shown they can start right off on NXT or maybe even on the big two. This is a good gauge for WWE to see where a talent is in their career and how it will translate to WWE.

Four of the six NXT Battleground matches tonight have a wrestler who was in TNA before WWE and if you count the Good Brothers then five of the matches have former or current TNA talent in them. I am just dreaming I am sure but what if Battleground turns into a real battleground. I mean, we could have four new champions crowned with TNA ties.

According to Bleacher Report this was a really good match with a not so good ending. They feel like the match was different than what one sees in women matches on NXT. By the way the ending involved Ash By Excellence aka Dana Brooke which makes sense and yet seems weird.

Who thinks Tatum Paxley will walk through the Prohibited Portal to answer Jordynne Grace's open challenge at Against All Odds?

I also thought it was a really good match until the interference at the end and I was hoping Jordynne would win the title even though I knew that was unlikely. A friend of mine yesterday sat behind Jordynne’s husband Jonathan Gresham and TNA executive Gail Kim.

Well Gail, Jonathan makes sense since it's wifey.
