I'm currently watching this week's episode of NXT on my DVDR and Cody Rhodes just told NXT Champion Trick Williams that his next challenger for the NXT Championship will be deicded in a 25 man battle royal next week on NXT where some of the competitors "may be coming from different locker rooms."
I guess that could just mean wrestlers from RAW and Smackdown in addition to NXT but it could also mean TNA. With NXT's Heatwave taking place next month in Toronto during Money in the Bank weekend, I wonder if Ontario's Josh Alexander might be in this battle royal and even possibly win it?

Interesting. Heatwave takes place 13 days before Slammiversary which is also in Canada.

While I can't dismiss this completely I do not see it happening. Why go thru the name change back to TNA if they were planning on selling? Who has been released other then Scott? As far as Scott I think there is more to that than we have heard. The schedule only being thru August is SOP for them. For years they have events set for only 3 months out or so. Probably gives them flexibility of where they can go to tap into hot markers and get better deals on venue rentals. Dave Sahadi, who held the post of Creative Director for TNA Wrestling, is now gone from the promotion. He directed TNA broadcasts for 18 years under prior ownerships and was a Creative Director for WWE before that. RD Evans, who was considered head of creative and also a Producer, has also left. According to one key source, Evans’ working relationship with the company had become strained in recent weeks, with him coming off as “obviously increasingly frustrated.” Lou D'Angeli, remembered as "Sign Guy Dudley" in ECW, and later a marketing director in WWE, has left TNA Wrestling. He served as the Vice President of Marketing for Anthem Entertainment. According to PWInsider, his departure was mutually agreed upon after a meeting with Anthem executives last week. Mike Krewson, the director for touring in TNA, has left the company. Krewson had been with the company since 2014 and had previously worked for them from 2008 to 2013. There's four names that have left the company in recent weeks. To follow up on this, I find it interesting that TNA signed Ace Steel in February after his recent history in AEW. Maybe they are hoping to build a bridge to Punk before he burns the current one he has in WWE.

I see Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian both entered the NXT battle royal. Seems WWE was happy with Hendry.

SPOILER below if you have not yet seen tonight's episode of NXT:
cool to see Zack Wentz and Trey Miguel reunite with Wes Lee on NXT tonight to reform the Rascalz
I just a little ovrhalfway through tonight's show on my DVDR, so I donlt know yet who is going to be the tag team partner for Trick Williams vs new NXT Champion Ethan Page and Shawn Spears, but I am guessing Josh Alexander or Joe Hendry.

When I heard Wes was going to make a speech about his future I decided to watch as not working tonight and had access to USA. As he talked I had a feeling they might show up. It is uber cool and I like how they merged the NXT tag team name with the group name. Like a subgroup in the Razcals. I had the same feeling about the mystery partner but one stood out due to his face showing up in the NXT commercials and I was right.
