I am working on creating a fed that is vintage based on using the vintage charts.
I want to start off with using wrestlers from the vintage era and then eventually cycle in more modern wrestlers with more athletic backgrounds. Like Angle, Shamrock, Bockwinkle, for example.
Besides the wrestlers from Expansion 7, Muldoon, Pesek, Stanislaus Zbyszko and Martin Farmer Burns; who else from LOW originally wrestled in the vintage era?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

That’s mostly what my fed is made of. Expansion vii and the Tragos sets. I also use wrestlers from the Olde Wrestling sets. It’s an indie fed that pretends to be vintage. The wrestlers aren’t very strong but they can fill your mid or lower card.

George Tragos. Abe Lincoln from one of the black-and-white pdf 4-packs. Jim Londos.
Of course not all these guys are perfect overlaps. Londos and Tragos were more 1920s/1930s and of course Abe was decades before everyone else.

Depends a bit on your definition of vintage, I suppose. We don't have a massive roster of early 1900s wrestlers but if you expand to the 1930s we have Londos, Tragos...
Ed "Strangler" Lewis sort of bridged the divide between the early 1900s and that next (1920s-1930s) era.
As for more recent wrestlers who might mix well with the vintage guys: Angle, Shamrock, Severn, Backlund, Danielson,

I'm currently running one that started up in 1905 and is about to hit it's 1950's TV era. Best advice I can offer is to hunt down bootlegs on these boards to fill out your early roster. You won't have a lot of official cards to work with until the late 1940's without bending timelines a little or bringing guys in earlier than they actually debut.

Justme has some really good ones. Between official low, Justme's cards and what's available publicly for download, you can assemble a fairly nice vintage roster.
