Have you ever had to take the strap off someone? Why?

I've had championship partners turn on each other and vacate the six man tag titles. Also once I just got bored with a guy and had him leave the territory and be stripped of the secondary title. Then there was the tragic diet Pepsi incident that ended the Vachon brothers tag title run when Butcher's card was essentially destroyed.

In Legends, I have stripped wrestlers of titles if they are suspended for a longer amount of time. I say that titles must be defended once per calendar month (not necessarily the old 30-day rule). So if a suspension causes the wrestler to miss his monthly title defense, I strip him of the belt.
I also stripped Bobo Brazil of the Southern title when he was injured for 12 cards. With most injuries, I usually have the champions wrestle but I figured a more severe injury like this should be sold as serious and the champion should be unable to compete in any form. Plus, it was a good storyline that Bobo never lost the title in the ring. That was in the first year of my USWA and although he's received shots at the title, he has never won the Southern belt again.

I know this is in the LOW section, but I feel like my GWF fed is cursed when it comes my current champions being written out of the game.
Last year it was FDF Tradition and the GWF Tag straps. Best and most successful tag team in my fed breaks up. Awesome. 🤦♂️
This year it’s Havoc who is my current GWF INTERPLANETARY Champ. Now Tom is banishing him. Great. 🤦
Sometimes I think Tom reads my fed when he’s deciding to ditch wrestlers and checks my current champions to make a decision. 😳

Have you ever had to take the strap off someone? Why? Not in LOW. If someone is injured, they'll wrestle injured or I'll wave the usual 30 day title defense rule. I'm not breaking title lineages anymore.

I stripped Jimmy Snuka of the world title for wrestling a non-sanctioned Hell in a Cell match. I am almost sure it was against Bruiser Brody. If I was at home I could pull out the files and make sure. I haven't found the old post about it on the board yet.
So the title was held up and the winner of the Cauliflower Cup 16-man tourney became the new champion. Mil Mascaras def. Harley Race in the final.

Now that you know you can influence the future of GWF.

I use a chart that Tommy made years ago at the end of a gaming month PPV event to shake things up and have had champions just up and leave my territory for another territory I am either running or just to the free agent pool. I have had to take the title off of wrestlers who were injured for too long and couldn't defend it at the end of the monthly PPV/Supercard. I also keep track of how long their contract dates are in months. So I have had wrestlers leave and not resign after their contracts were up. I only had to ever strip the title off of one wrestler due to their being suspended and that was many many years ago and it was Nature Boy Buddy Rogers when his stable ran roughshod over my Maple Leaf Legends of Wrestling fed and he had severly injured his rival at the time Bobo Brazil.
