Fingers crossed that it will be easier to hear panels. I don't hear well either which is why I try to focus on one conversation.

And, no offense to you Vegas , or Ty, but you both are also two of the most soft-spoken people, which makes it challenging to hear you from the distance we were away to begin with. I had the misfortune of sitting next to someo f the people who were loudly talking during the panels so that was tough for me, especially with my partial hearing loss due to tinnitus in my left ear. The fact that they were staying on the left side of me, made it even worse and harder to hear. yeah, hopefully next year the people who want to talk during the panels can go outside or move to a different part of the venue. I feel like Bad News Barrett, "Ladies and gentlemen, can I have some decorum please? Can I have some decorum please?" Zeke, next year if people insist on talking loudly during your presentation you should take a page out of Dr. Evil's playbook.

Maybe next year we do a Go Fund Me for a sound system. I also think that the size of the room we were in made it more difficult to hear than is normal. And, if worse comes to worse, next year, I have ZERO problem using the voice that I have been blessed with to tell people to “Shut up.” Many adjectives have been used to describe Barry, but one that has never been used is “quiet.”
