MPW - Multiverse Pro Wrestling.

Fed Backstory: In this timeline wrestling is the biggest sport in the galaxy. Wrestlers are rock stars. Competition is fierce as the GWF found out when MVP wrestling debuted owned by Magnus Colby. Colby, the richest man in the galaxy has developed the technology to travel between time and space. Colby will use the tech exclusively with his newest asset, MPW to recruit talent the GWF can’t get. After years of failing in his attempts to take over the GWF how long until Colby tires of being the silent owner?


I will begin my posts with season 2. The fed roster begun with the Kronos Battlelines pack but it is not a by the book fed. Some things are by the books. Some things are not. A summary of season one would go as follows

-Infinity and Infinity Plex battled for the Grand title most of the year. With Infinity finally winning the war in an epic last man standing match.

-Tauran wins the title for Infinity. In an epic Battlezone match that Solaris had to force due to constant interference by Extinction Event. After Extinction Event injured Infinity before the big match Solaris put the Grand title on the line in their War Games Battlezone match. Tauran became a made man that night as he eliminated every member of Extinction Event after Nightmare had a two man lead. Thus winning the title for his injured friend.

-Tauran wins the MPW Grand title from Infinity but loses it back to Infinity at the last show of the year Kingdom Come.

-Vyper split from the Hitmen and won the inaugural Interplanetary championship tournament. Vyper gains the ultimate revenge when he got Krakan banished by defeating all of the Hitmen. He has yet to lose the title.

Invasion

Pegasus def. Infinity Plex (2) following a jumping piledriver. The former Grand champion is squashed.


3 men and one woman make a grand entrance to the ring. Nobody knows who they are. They applauded Pegasus and allowed him to leave but the biggest one of them stands in Infinity Plex’s way. Infinity Plex attacks all 3 men but only the big man fights back. The big man is ordered to give Plex the CRACK OF DOOM and he delivers.


Prodigy (2) w.Rocket def. Ensor (2) with a piledriver.


Greek Gods (2) def. The Survivors (8) after Nikolai was pinned after a GRECIAN SUNSET.


Jupiter def. Olympia (1) with the CHAMPION SUPER DROP. The feud is tied at one win a piece.


Ultimatum def. Solitude (4) via LEAVE AND LIVE. Spike and the Gladiators showed up and ringside and Ultimatum went one on three earning a ton of respect from the fans. Despite the shape the fight left him in, he still wins the match.


MPW Tag Team Championship
Stars & Stripes (2) w.Commander Sam def. The Mercenaries © (8) after EARTH FIST finished Tongsoon. Stars and Stripes won the belts in an exhaustive match but the new champs proved worthy.


Payback and Overtime are in MPW and they attack the exhausted Mercenaries! Bad Dude and Psyclone come to the rescue but Psyclone turns on the Hitmen! It is not there night as Bad Dude, Tongsoon and GP go thru a table at the hands of the Hardcore Titans!


MPW Interplanetary Championship
Raven (2) def. Vyper © (5) following the WAR Gun. Raven was the only man to beat Vyper last year at King of Kronos and he beats the only Interplanetary Champion the fed has known.


MPW Grand Championship
Infinity © (1) def. Mensar (1) w.Tyranny via the Infinity Grip! Infinity wins his 6th match in a row.


The 4 returns to confront the MPW Grand champion! At first it looked as though they wouldn’t let Infinity pass, they did and when he turned his back the 4 attacked him! The fans boo as the 4 stands supreme as the new seemingly independent unit. But what do they want?

Clash 17

Johnny Rocket gets an interview with the 4 that attacked Infinity and Infinity Plex. “I am Mentor and we are the College. There’s some lessons that many here need to learn. We will be the instructors!” Why attack both Infinity and Infinity Plex. Is this some type of Invasion? Mentor answers, “When both sides of the political parties in MPW have gone the wrong way. You need someone straight down the middle. Infinity is just as bad as his counterpart! Both men will be dealt with and anyone else in this fed that thinks they don’t have to play by the rules!”


Mayday def. Blazing Holocaust (2) with a choke slam over the top ropes! The crowd gasps as Holocaust is taken away on a stretcher.


The Overmen have decided that whoever wins this rivalry between Jupiter and Olympia is the leader of the team. With the final match between the two occurring in a I Quit Match at No Mercy!


Man of Power (2) def. True Blue (4) w.Rocket after MAN POWER. 4*


Payback, Psyclone, Overtime and Screwjob, the Hardcore Titans take center stage. They give props to Psyclone for his masterful undercover work. Then tell the world they’re going to end the Hitmen once and for all. “There will be nothing left but ashes!”


Solitude (2) def. Ultimatum (7) via the GLADIATOR POWER BOMB. Ultimatum impresses even in defeat.

Quickly the Gladiators storm the ring to harm Ultimatum but they’re met by Raven and Swarm who come armed with bats. The Gladiators escape as Spike and Solitude raise each other arms showing solidarity.


Twin Telepathy w.Johnny Rocket def. Greek Gods (5) after INVINCIBLE hits Proteus.

After the match the Survivors attack the Greek Gods! The crowd boos as the Survivors beat the hell out of already beaten men!


Cosmos (2) def. Preceptor (2) via the MASTERLOCK. Good match between the two as Cosmos kicked out of VALEDICTORY before getting the comeback win.


MPW Interplanetary Championship
Prodigy (1) w.Johnny Rocket def. Raven © (3) via the PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER. Prodigy was on Raven from the opening bell. Raven did hit the DETHRONING but did little else.


Infinity Plex def. Mentor w.Mentress when he injures him via the Extinction Event.


Mentor is knocked out and Infinity Plex gloats! “The College has been destroyed!” Mayday runs out and tries to fight Infinity Plex but he’s held back by security. Plex spits at him and tells him he will put him right next to the Mentor!

Clash 18

The MPW Grand Champion starts the show with Johnny Rocket. Infinity wonders what has he done to offend the College. “I fight for what’s right and I fight for the people! I’m not sure what the motives behind coming after me are. If this is just a way for the new guys to jump the ladder and get title shots. It won’t work! We earn what we get here!”


Pegasus (2) def. Cupid (3) via WINGS OF PEGASUS despite interference from Honos.


The Survivors (1) def. Greek Gods (4) when Nikolai takes Proteus down with the CURB STOMP. The Survivors dominate the former tag champs.


Psyclone (1) def. Bad Dude (1) by putting his feet on the ropes (snake eyes).

Psyclone escapes up the aisle only to be attacked from behind by a debuting Fortune! Fortune stomps Psyclone viciously until Bad Dude joins him! Screwjob makes the save with a barbed wire baseball bat but the Hitmen have struck back with a new member!


Payback Time (4) def. Mercenaries (7) after Payback pins Tongsoon following a lariat. Payback Time bullied the former champions.


Spike (1) def. Swarm (3) via the MEGADESTROYER.


Mayday (2) def. Nightmare via DQ! Infinity Plex arrives after Nightmare hits Mayday with a chair! Infinity gives Mayday the Extinction Event before Preceptor arrives.

But the Preceptor is ambushed by Desolation Factor! Mayday and Preceptor are saved by Infinity, Cosmos and Sixth Law who fight off their long-time rivals.


Title shot Match
Tauran (1) def. Vyper (2) via the VAMPIRE BLOOD DROP. Tauran wins the main event spot of No Mercy as he wil face Infinity for the 3rd time for the title.

[Swarm]

Really clean looking results, Drew. Spike vs Swarm is a hot feud in my corner of the galaxy as well.

Tauran getting a title shot is big news.

Clash 19

Sixth Law def. Desolation Factor via SIXTH LAW.


Tongsoon, GP, Bad Dude and Fortune are with Johnny Rocket. Tongsoon said he didn’t think the Titans had it in them. But they picked the wrong team to mess with! “This is a war! There is no team more prepared than us!”

Fortune (1) def. Screwjob (3) after a Hitman Clothesline despite interference from Psyclone.


The MPW Champion Infinity is with Johnny Rocket! The champ says Tauran is the toughest opponent he’s ever faced. “Despite the rumors you see, there’s still a lot of fight in me! I’m going to prove I haven’t lost a step when we face off in a Ladder Match! If Tauran accepts!”


Death Match
Bad Dude (6) def. Psyclone (6) via a Hitman Clothesline. Fortune returned the favor by interfering and costing Psyclone the match.


Ultimatum (2) def. Solitude (3) via STAY AND PERISH. Ultimatum wins despite Spike’s interference.

After the match Ultimatum had this to say, “Spike I’ve outsmarted you at every turn! At No Mercy, I’ll show you none!”


Twin Telepathy w.Johnny Rocket def. Category Five & Torment via DQ. After PARALLEL UNIVERSES Torment storms the ring and takes Cool and Warden down with a chair shot.

The Gladiators continue to stomp the Twins when the tag champs Stars & Stripes come to the rescue and run the Gladiators off. The champs and Commander Sam help up their opponents for No Mercy. Rocket contends Sam was behind all of this! “Why are the number one contenders scheduled to fight before their title match? Sam, I know how close you and Solaris are! Just tell me you did it and we’ll let bygones be bygones.” Sam denies any involvement and with his team he leaves.


Preceptor (1) def. Cosmos (7) with a sunset flip.

After the match Preceptor is beaten down by Infinity Plex and Desolation Factor! Infinity Plex, “I’m still the big bad wolf around here! Mayday! Your next!”


Nightmare (2) def. Mayday (6) with NIGHT TERRORS! Extinction Event interferes after the CRACK OF DOOM and costs Mayday the match.

After a big debut Extinction Event proves yet again they’re still the biggest bullies on the block!

I love the push you give Preceptor. Mayday losing to Nightmare is a big one. Nightmare is severely underrated.

Preceptor is such a unique card since you gave a heel an old school baby face offense. Anytime someone loses by snake eyes in my fed I say it’s because of injury. So Mentor’s injury was a curveball.

Nightmare is a diamond in the rough. He’s going to be in this fed for a long time.
