As I am closing out 2139 this week and getting ready to start Myth Worlds, I have been looking over these new cards.
Which of these new cards are your favorites?
You can vote for 3 different selections in this poll.
On the poll I put a spot for other? just in case I forgot somebody which is possible as I am mostly an Indies player who takes periodic breaks for COTG when the new sets get released (like right now with Myth Worlds.)

Helle, Lokki and Anubis edging out Theseus and Asterion. Pinnacle other than his unique finisher just comes off as another Godsend.

Anubis (my current Interplanetary champion), Pinnacle and right now Lokki edges out Asterion because of how much fun I’m having w the character and his use of the Basilisk (who feels like a new character under the guidance of Lokki).
Love them all though. No complaints about any of them. One of the better sets over the past 10-15 years.
I’ve always enjoyed the Godsend character and all that comes with him. Much more enjoyable than the heavy-handed heel GM roles. So I’m really having fun w Pinnacle. He’s got a great card too that really relies on that finisher mechanic.
Forbidden isn’t very good either, and I realize now that’s prob by design. That works well in my fed with poor Demonicus always desperate to please his master then losing in the ring and groveling for forgiveness afterwards. The stories just tell themselves.

FYI the "other" would be Vale. I got worried for a second that I might be missing that card, but I just checked and I have it (I just did not see it apparently when I made that alphabetic list on the poll) so I am good to start Myth Worlds this weekend. |
