So far we’ve covered Saber and Tempest. Time to discuss another fun and still relatively new character Tarval the Trapper.
Tarval the Trapper is currently one-half of the tag team Evolved (w Orrus the Unstoppable) in Myth Worlds, Multiverse 1. They feud with Lokki and Vale from Valhala because Lokki has used his magic to gain control of the Basilisk. Evolved has been chasing and feuding w the Basilisk for years, and consider him their prey and territory. Has this new alliance between Lokki & the Basilisk turned Evolved into faces? It’s up to you, promoter.
They also feud with Castilex, former allies on Vizir’s Foundation team.
Tarval is a wacky, hardcore wrestler from Merapis (like Orrus). He’s purple, he makes funny faces and he carries around a giant glowing net that he sometimes uses to trap his opponents in after a win.
I’ve been a fan of Tarval from the start. Really abstract character from his look to his personality to his in-ring style - and he’s been more successful for me than I thought he would be. He’s made a great former Interplanetary Champion, engaging in a memorable feud w Tempest in which he captured Flonch in his net and held him hostage.
I’ve got a lot of mileage out of his trapper gimmick, as he’s found reasons to go after various AniMen and titles with a different attitude of hunting and capturing them rather than defeating and winning titles.
I’ve got a future storyline cooking where he will eventually begin hunting Nosfera.
