Tharkas
Currently one-half of the tag team Battlefield on the Conquerors with Saber, and best friends with Murtak in Myth Worlds Multiverse 1.

He’s green, he’s a Ravager from Centra and he hates you and I. But it’s nothing personal, he hates all humans. But he’s been bff’s w Murtak for most of his career so that counts for something.

He also has (I believe) the oldest active card in the game (if not its close).

Tharkas has been around a long time, debuting way back in the Council of War set. I believe Paganax was also in that set, which tells you how long ago that was.

His current Promoter Prime card is from 2018, a fact Matt tried arguing with me about at GCON. 🤪

Big personality with a good balance of comedy and seriousness. He’s been a great former GWF Interplanetary Champion for me, and in fact never actually lost the title, instead he was run out of my fed by Istar and forced to relinquish it.

But now he’s back (in my fed) on Myth Worlds helping Saber in his feud against the Society of Death.

Tharkas never gets old and never seems to get too lost in the shuffle despite being around forever. His current card is one of the better overall cards in the game with great art and fun stats that keep any feud he is in interesting.

How do we feel about Tharkas? Is he this era’s Matador & Payback where he really doesn’t need a new card and is perfect as is?

Or does Tharkas deserve an upgrade and a run at the top for a few years?

Tharkas was an overachiever for me for a long time. In recent years though, his strange interest in Murtak has him running lower on the card.

Tharkas and his partnership w/ Murtak will always keep him in his curtain jerker role he's had for years now. His team w/ PSI as Better Than Human were actually a very competitive team and even got them the titles twice and he even got it once w/ Adam Traitor. So, he's definitely very capable as an anchor for a solid team. He just needs a midcard or better partner.

Tharkas & Adam Traitor had a legendary feud with Fist & Probation where they had the Gladiators number for a long time.

One of my favorite things about Tharkas is that he’s a seamless tag wrestler who has formed competitive teams with multiple allies.

During the Future Shock era, Tharkas and Traitor...I called them the War Heroes...were a dominant team always at the top of the rankings.
After that, Tharkas kinda struggled to find his place and settled into lower card. Which sucks because I really like the character.

Tharkas is such a great character. I wish he had a better card. The art on his first card is one of my favorites.

Tharkas has done really well in my fed as a former Interplantary champion.He is fun to write and has been involved in some great feuds and angles. With that said hey Swarm can we do Siege next?
