Doubtful. If enough signings are made to do a set then they can decide to make it.

Doubtful. If enough signings are made to do a set then they can decide to make it. This is disappointing news, for sure. Obviously, there are/were fewer woman wrestlers that would fall into the "Legends" category as opposed to men, I'm assuming those that do are harder to sign?

Plus a lack of good headliners doesn't help.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did a 4 pack at some point or toss in an occasional one into PP.

LOW Women in Prime I don't think has happened. Once maybe? I'd say whenever they have enough to release then maybe it happens. If the major names aren't happening like Richter, Madusa, Lita, etc., those who are signed need to get dropped in Prime on occasion.

Melina is the only one so far. I just imagine that they may release a name sometime just to get a card out. At least it's not like Indy cards where sitting on them too long can become an issue.

I concur with Ty States - you need two names it seems like to make the set go - the last one had Lauer and Luna.
Future set would need someone in the vein or the following:
June Byers Wendy Richter Amy Dumas (Lita) Velvet McIntyre
I mean really you need two of those four names to make it happen. I can say with certainty that Mae Young, at least as of last fall, cannot happen as her nephew confirmed that she has a lifetime contract with WWE - confirmed via phone call. Also I didn’t include Madusa or Beth Phoenix as both have ties to the CAC and TNTHOF respectively and more likely than not would be held for one of those releases rather than a Legendary Ladies set.

Not to bring up sad thoughts but Mae Young is no longer with us. I mean, shouldn't lifetime contract end with the life? Or is it tied to the lifetime of the company? Sounds like typical WWE evil empire shit. They want to control everything.

I'm sure she would be available if there's someone who can give the okay.

What about her son with Mark Henry, Rubber Hand? He might be able to sign off on it. I mean, at least he is not a foot.
