Back on Netflix for 20th anniversary. Only watched bits and pieces when it was on. Closing in on season 4. Great stuff. Enjoy watching a few episodes, then hopping on Reddit. Anyone else watched/watching?

Funny enough I looked the series up on Wiki to remember how it ended and some of the story recently. Did not realize it was getting to the anniversary. I did watch religiously when it aired. At least the first few seasons. I have mostly worked nights, so I recorded it, yes that is how long ago it was on, and watched it when I got home. I unfortunately forgot to set recorder, or it messed up a couple times. Either way I missed some episodes and a show like that you have to keep watching or you get lost, pardon the pun, yourself and the excitement wears off. At least for me it does. Same way with Walking Dead and Heroes. I may go back and watch it one day but at this point I doubt it. Just like I will never get around to watching Supernatural from start to finish.

I completed Supernatural a few years back. After doing a re-watch, I stopped at season 7, which most consider the worst. With Lost, I watch 2 episodes daily, and that allows me time to digest it. Heroes Season 1 was near perfection. Netflix is adding basically everything from AMC+ on the 19th, so I think I will finish TWD then, and whatever spinoff they've had since then. Night shift got the best of me when I was younger, so I missed a lot, also.

The first 2 seasons were very well done. After that it started to suffer from the writer's strike as well as a meandering mythos that was darn near impossible to follow. "Less is more" would have helped that show considerably.

One of my favorite shows ever. Have not watched in quite a few years. Watched it most of the way through when it first came out. Don't remember why I stopped but then rewatched the whole thing years later. I know there are story threads that lead nowhere and stuff that doesn't make sense but I still loved the ride.

We currently finished season 3, and I told my wife let's take a week to let it all marinate. Season 3 had the writers strike, but still felt relatively smooth.

"Less is more" would have helped that show considerably. I can understand that. I hope we can keep up with the flash forward and flash sideways and time travel coming up, lol

Into season 5, and have been able to keep up with most of the story. I think having Reddit to fall back on has definitely assisted though. Able to talk to other first time watchers, and leave opinions and stuff I think probably made the whole experience more fun.

Wife and I finished the series. I found watching 2-3 episodes at a time works best, in order to digest and think about what you watched.
At the end they started the flash sideways, but within 4-5 episodes, you realize what the reason is for these. My wife cried full on during the 2 hour finale, and she is someone who usually sticks to sitcoms.
Lost Explained on youtube does a fantastic job breaking down all the theories of the show, and that was fun to watch post-show.
I'd give it 8.5/10 and recommend it. I could definitely see how people would get frustrated watching in the weekly format, and this is a show you have to watch with phones off, as it needs complete attention, but totally worth it.

I actually loved the experience of watching it weekly, but like you, I had people to discuss it with during the week. I think the discussions around the show were a big part of why I enjoyed the show so much but the story really grabbed me week in and week out. Glad you enjoyed it!
