Cory, I appreciated your ‘un-official’ joke even if no one else did.
The only play idea I came up with was based on a story I heard Larry Zbyszko tell where he crawled through the bushes at Bruno Sammartino’s house in order to meet him. The show would take place on a set that looked like a backyard and would start with Bruno working out and a young Zbyszko crawling through the bushes. It would be a fictionalized retelling of that meeting and the bulk of them would be working out how they’d work together and end with them figuring out the ‘turn.’ Then the show would end with a handshake.
Great episode!

I am looking forward to going to the River Rumble in November! I heard a rumor that Chad likes to buy promoters attending for the first time a beer. Is that correct?
I did not sign Gary Jackson as he signed with Tom the Tuesday mroning of last year's CAC when I was at work, but I helped set up the signing by talking to Gary about it at Waterloo and then the day before that Monday at the CAC.
I look forward to listening the remainder of this podcast as I travel to Detroit later tonight.

Have a safe trip to Detroit, my friend!

Chad in response to your interest in seeing a play about the NWA meetings set in a hotel room in Waterloo they already have that play, it's called 12 Angry Men, HAH! That's for the theatre nerds. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Angry_Men

Cory, I appreciated your ‘un-official’ joke even if no one else did. Grant, I'm drawing a blank; what was my joke? The only play idea I came up with was based on a story I heard Larry Zbyszko tell where he crawled through the bushes at Bruno Sammartino’s house in order to meet him. The show would take place on a set that looked like a backyard and would start with Bruno working out and a young Zbyszko crawling through the bushes. That would be an awesome play!

A play that I would love to see would be Sputnik Monroe's assisting of integrating Memphis including court room scenes and in the end a group of black wrestling fans bringing a tear to his eye as they applauded what he did for them.

Being that it's still relatively fresh, and was fairly interesting...I think a play revolving around Jack Curly's story as told in Ballyhoo! might be fairly interesting.
