Does this program have a potential to stop Filsinger Games from signing potential top independant talent?

Does this program have a potential to stop Filsinger Games from signing potential top independant talent? It's difficult to know right now until someone tries to sign one, I think, as the terms of the WWE ID deal are not fully out there. Zeke did say one of the names announced early on has signed a release form and may well be released early next year, so right now it is not a reason to stop releasing those who have signed. I think the contracts are almost like a first refusal deal at the moment, but that is a little guesswork based on the way it has all been announced |

My understanding is they can still be booked anywhere and can even sign contracts with other feds such as TNA and AEW unless WWE wants to match an offer. I would not be surprised if this is more of an issue for AEW than it is for Filsinger Games, but we will have to see how this plays out as it is a new program.. I am looking to find out more on Sunday when I go to FSW and hopefully talk to Ice Williams who has been WWE IDd. |

You might find someone that is now WWE ID who will say no to the game even if it would be fine if they signed. They may feel like they can't or don't want to do something that may or may not cause them an issue.
Who knows? Given how cautious FG is I'd think even if they signed the form before getting a WWE ID that it won't get released. We had people signed before going somewhere national and then the card doesn't get done.

' I could see that just as I can definitely see not many wrestlers with WWE IDs wanting to appear for AEW events such as as local ROH tapings. But instead of openly worrying and speculating about it online, I am looking to first find out more about it tomorrow by talking to somebody at FSW who has been WWE IDd. But IF they can and are willing to sign the form then I am confident I can get them signed. I would just stress that we don't release cards or updates of wrestlers once they go to WWE anyway (we tend to get their cards out before that point) and I have done expiration dates in the past for guys like Killer Kross and PCO. |

We had people signed before going somewhere national and then the card doesn't get done. well they really have not gone national yet as they are still on the Indies also, I personally can't think of anybody in WWE or AEW signed to the game who we don't have a card for. Instead of not releasing a card for somebody going to WWE or AEW, we have expedited some card releases (such as moving up Colby Corino from a planned June/Father's Day 2023 Indies Promoter Prime release to the March Indies Promoter Prime 2023 release once he got signed briefly to WWE) for wrestlers we have signed who later get signed to WWE or AEW. |

on a positive note, Ricky Starks just appeared in GCW, if he is out of AEW then we need to give him an update ASAP.
I actually talked to Ricky at GCW during Mania Weekend in Philadelphia before the For the Culture show (he was in the crowd) as he still remembers me from the time I did his Inspire card. He saw me and said "all the way from Vegas" and told me I need to buy a lottery ticket based on the number of winning NFL parlay tickets he has seen me post on Facebook.
