FIrst, IE8 is not officially supported with COTGonline. The reason for this is there are hooks in the system for IE only settings. As of IE8, it is allegedly standards compliant, and as such, sites that have hooks for IE may not work. Online is one of those sites. Some things work, others do not. Thankfully, Microsoft has provided a method of handling this. Within your browser, there is an image of a broken page. Click on it, and you should be running in IE 7 compatibility. I don't use IE that often, and I didn't even know 8 was officially released yet. More info here: blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2008/08/27/introducing-compatibility-view.aspx

Considering the way the Cubs are playing lately, that's a tough call. IE8 still gets the nod, though, thanks to Microsoft being evil.

I would hold off on Chrome until next release though. The version now is more like a beta.

I use Firefox as primary, then Crome for Facebook, I have Safari for just to play with. and IE8 I use to just watch YouTube. I like to play with them all. Have a few others, but most are almost obsolete now days.
But I recommend Firefox over all, just great working all the way through with little to no trouble or crashes.
