I'm sorry if that opinion bothers some people but I have run the tournament that way for years. Hard to argue with that folks! There's no argument here...he will most likely have the same result as last year because he didn't learn anything last year. This is exactly why it is for the secondary title & not for the main one.

we currently have three people signed up, and just becasue you can pick any two doesn't mean it should be relegated to a "secondary" role. it has been a part of the con for years, and I was unhappy with how it was just tossed aside like it was, and what was worse, this was done without asking me how I felt.
It may be first come first serve, but again, I ask, how can you be slighted when you have 4 different feds to choose from? someone gets Endgame and Chaos (which no one has),there is always Paganax and Ventross or Thayne and Mensar or Iron sheik and the Sheik. My point is, up until last year NO ONE complained about how it is was unfair or stacked to favor some people.
In every tournament , save for the Cup itself, (and even that has Limitations) there is always the chance you get stuck with someone who you know, right out of the gate, is not going to last. Here, for the most part, YOU make the decision about who to take.

As I understand it, because your tournament doesn't follow the established CotG charts/rules/matches is exactly why your tournament competes for the secondary title. If you would use established charts/rules/matches you would probably have been included in the Cup.
I happen to agree if that's the case. It's like you're saying to Tom at a gaming tournament for his game that the rules/matches that he created aren't good enough for your tournament.
No worries, play it however you want to. It doesn't matter to me.
For the record; you claim there "aren't enough hardcore matches"...
Street Suicide Match, Cygnus Adamantium Fists Match, Four Weapons of Destruction Match, Total Anarchy Match, Circinus Cell Match, Hardcore Titan Death Match, Centra Coffin Match, The Nightmare Matrix, Ruins of Antilia Match, Lava Pit Match, Earth Ladder Match, Mensa Table Match, Aethran Ultimate Escape Match, Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage, Castor Chain Match, Cosmic Cage Match, Cygnus Brass Knuckles Match, Lepus Stun Rod Match, Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere Match, Titan Death Match, Torture Chamber Match, Turnbuckle Shock Match...
Then there are these from the LOW:
Barbed Wire Cage Match, Brass Knuckles Match, Cage Match, Chain Match, Coffin Match, Dog Collar Match, Falls Count Anywhere Match, Ladder Match, Last Man Standing Match, Singapore Cane Match, Table Match...
Don't tell me that there "aren't enough hardcore matches" in CotG...that is just bulls**t that you try to sell because they aren't the "matches that you like to run"...There are 26 just in the GWF/aCe/POW...26
You only have 15 matches in a 16 man tournament. Don't tell me there "aren't enough hardcore matches"...

I would like to point out that I DO use some of the Matches in the Ringside Companions, but not all of them work for the tournament, like the aethran ultimate escape match for example. I supplement the tournament with Promoter made matches to provide a more hardcore environment then the ringside companions alone. Sure, not all of them are used, but it's more fun and diverse this way and isn't that the point of it all?
