I am posting this so I am not chasing people down for my tournament and since it is up in the air now if there will even be a comic book tournament, I want to make sure I am covered, so with that in mind:
7TH ANNUAL KING OF HARDCORE
Rules are fairly simple:
8 slots are open for this tournament at Galacticon. Every participant picks 2 wrestlers. The wrestler can be from ANY of the 4: GWF,POW,aCe, LOW as long as they have one of the following qualifications:
1. Cage rating of 2 or better
2. A Dq finisher
3. 2 Out of the rings
4. DQ 6 or higher
Once the wrestlers are picked, I will roll the BALL of DOOM (It's Actually a bingo roller. SHHHH) and pick out your match. You and your opponent will battle in a 2 out of 3 match using the rules of the match that came up. Your first wrestler will battle his first wrestler, until a fall has been declared. Your #2 wrestler will then fight his #2 using the same rules, until a fall has been declared. If you and your opponnet each win a match, your wining wrestler and his winning wrestler battle it out. The winner advances of course.
Once you have won a bracket, come back to me, and I will roll the BALL of DOOM (*insert Ominous Music*) and pick out a new match for you to battle your new opponent in.
This goes until only two wrestlers remain and those 2 men battle it out in the Ultimate Torture Chamber until one wrestler remains and he is declared the KING of Hardcore.
Past winners include Disaster, blade, nosfera and Brusier Brody. Keep in mind that simply because a card is good, does not mean that card will win the tournamnet. Both iron hand and Monolith were in the tournament last year and neither won.
So, barring any questions: who is up for it?
