Midnight Revolution Wrestling
from the Revolution Arena in the capital of corruption, New Jersey
Carmine The Shark comes to the ring with the Revolution title belt to start the show.
Carmine:"Fans, for the past several months we've gone out of our way to give you the best wrestling show we could deliver. We've made some mistakes, but I think we got it right more often than not. I'm a gambler, and a good one, and I've made a livin' playin' the cards I was dealt. One of our wrestlers tried to give me a raw deal tonight and he found out that I'm not the man to play that game with. That man was none other than the Revolution champ Adam Pearce."
"Pearce tried to welch on his deal with this company and, callin' it what it is, he tried to hold the Revolution championship ransom and stick us up for more money to come out here and defend this belt for you fans tonight. We treated him well and lived up to our end of our deal, but he got greedy. I think we deserve better and I KNOW you people who pay your good money to see us deserve better. So I told Pearce to take a hike! Let the bum play his game somewhere else. From here on out we're movin' on like that piece of work never existed!"
"Tonight is the end for all of the whiners and the complainers and the people who've been makin' it so hard for us to give you what you want: good wrestling and good entertainment with no BS and no excuses! Tonight we do what we shoulda done in the beginning: we hold a one night tournament to declare the REAL Revolution champion and next week is the dawning of a new era! There will be new wrestlers coming in, more action, less games, and more of everything you love about MRW! Thank you for watching us week after week and stick with us because it only gets better from here."
Carmine leaves the ring and the ring announcer quickly enters for the opening bout of the Revolution title tournament.
Tyler Black defeated Chris Hero in a 4-star bout, winning with God's Last Gift after Hero missed a moonsault (deathjump).
After the bell Hero recovered and clipped Black's knee from behind as he walked down the aisle. Hero began stomping the leg as referees rushed in to stop him. Hero left and Black had to be helped to the back.
After order is restored, a wild-eyed
Sara Del Rey comes to the ring and requests the mic. She is wearing a poorly made replica of the Cruiserweight title belt.
Sara:"The actions of the management at MRW in vacating the championship belt show their complete lack of respect for title belts and titleholders. A championship should be won and lost in the ring, not in the locker room. I have tried and tried to educate people about what being a competitor is all about and I've failed. I've had a freind turn into a lovesick puppy, I've been disrespected, and I have had to face competition that is, frankly, beneath me. And you people who supported me at the beginning, it wasn't enough, was it?!? Where is the respect from YOU! It isn't there! I give and give and give, and what do I get? Nothing! That is why I have decided to abdicate the cruiserweight championship and that is why this is the last you'll see of me in a Midnight Revolution Wrestling ring! Goodbye!"
Sara tosses the immitation title belt to the mat and quickly turns and walks away, right out the side exit and out of the building. The fans sit stunned, trying to understand what just happenend.
In the backstage area,
Scotty Vortekz is watching a monitor with a pained look on his face. In walks
Drake Younger and Vortekz perks up.
Scotty:"Man, I am glad to see you!"
Drake:"Yeah, nice to meet you, I'm Drake Younger."
Scotty:"Huh? Drake, it's me Scotty, we've been friends for years."
Drake:"You look like Scotty, but Brodie Lee put me on the shelf for a month and you've been acting like a **** while I've been gone. So Im not sure exactly WHO you are right now."
Scotty:"Okay, I guess you're right. I deserved that. Hey, speaking of someone deserving something, what in the hell was up with what happened to Brodie Lee last week? That was you right? But what's with that other stuff?"
Drake:"Dude, you're just going to have to wait and see. A guy contacted me about Brodie and....man, just wait until later tonight."
Ultramantis Black leads
Delirious to the ring for the next contest.
Larry Sweeney is announced and stops on the entrance ramp. He is weilding a Louisville Slugger baseball bat.
Sweeney:"With all this excitement going on in Revolution Arena it's hard to know if a guy's going to have anyone to watch his back right now. That's why I brought THIS (holding up the bat). Look at this fine piece of lumber I'm sporting here. And the Louisville Slugger bat is awesome, too! In fact, this may be the start of a whole new me. They used to call me Crazy Larry, but now they can call me Bat Man! In fact, I've got an idea. Boys, bring it out." (a pair of arena workers drag out sides of a steel cage) What we've got here is an average steel cage. A less visionary man may just say, 'hey, put it up and let's have us a cage match'. But Larry Sweeney is not that man. Now get a bag of baseballs and this sweet Louisville bat in there, and you've got something! No matter what goes down tonight, next week I'm challenging whichever of you Neo Solar-whatevers has the stones to face me in the first-ever "Louisville Slugger Batter's Cage match!"
Sweeney rushes to the ring, bat in hand, and takes a swing. Delirious ducks and hits Sweeney. The bat falls and the ref calls for the bell.
Delirious pinned Larry Sweeney with CHEMICAL IMBALANCE after an assist from Ultramantis Black.

Sweeney gathered some unlikely crowd support with his antics and his tenacity in fighting off two men most of the match. The odds were stacked against him though, and he fell in the end to the two-on-one advantage of Delirious in the ring and UMB at ringside.
Sweeney rolled away and left as UMB and Delirious celebrated their evil win in the ring. Suddenly
Diamond Dallas Page appeared in the entrance.
DDP:"I've got to hand it to you guys: you did it. Pearce made claims about wanting more money, but he really ran in fear because of the way you guys handled your business last week. You had a setback, but you pretty much ended up breaking apart Scrap Iron and Associates for good. I always new you were a bunch of evil dudes."
UMB:"Oh, you have no idea, Page. In fact, while you were busy with your ham-fisted machinations these past few weeks,
I have been plotting as well. You may believe that you manipulated and used the great Ultramantis Black and the Order of the Neo Solar Temple to get your revenge on Pearce, but it was really
I who was using you. And now.....you are no longer useful to me."
Page barely has time to react before
Crossbones attacks from behind. He lays out Page with a big axehandle to the back, then stomps him for good measure before joining UMB and Delirious in the ring.
Ultramantis Black:"Now, witness the Order of the Neo Solar Temple in all of it's evil glory. With my henchman Crossbones by my side at last in the MRW, we will be unstoppable! Hahahahahahahaha!"
(continued)
Lo Down Eddie Kingston defeated Brodie Lee in the championship tournament under interesting circumstances.

Lee, wearing a large bandage on his head from the attack last week, seemed to be a little off his game. He kept checking over his shoulder and was not nearly as aggressive as he has been in the past few months. When Lee did manage to gain the advantage, he was distracted by an older man who suddenly came down the aisle with Drake Younger. The man looked like an older version of Brodie and was wearing a John Deere cap and overalls. Brodie saw him, his jaw dropped, and he muttered "dad?" before Eddie spun him around and hit the Sky High for the pin.
After the match the older man looked at Brodie and said he was there to take back his money, his respect, and his son. Drake laughed at the situation, waved sarcastically at Lee, and headed back down the aisle as Brodie stood stunned in the middle of the ring.
George Bell is in the locker room with
Tyler Black. Tyler is sitting on a bench, in obvious pain, as a doctor tends to his knee.
Bell:"Tyler, earlier tonight you picked up the win over Chris Hero to take you one step closer to your goal of capturing the Revolution championship. However, Hero took a cheap shot at you and it looks like you've been injured. How are you going to be able to compete in this condition?"
Tyler:"The same way I always have: with heart and determination. I am fighting for every outcast and social misfit who doesn't have a voice in this rigged game we call society. They count on me and I draw energy from them. Eddie's a great wrestler and he wants that belt just as much as I do. I don't fool myself. I know he'll be coming at me with everything he's got to try to take home that belt. He'd better know I'll be doing the same."
Bell:"Fans, this one will be epic. Eddie Kingston and Tyler Black do battle for the Revolution championship in mere minutes. Can Black overcome this obstacle? Will Eddie Kingston realize his dream and gain the recognition he rightly deserves? We'll find out soon enough! Right now, let's go to the other locker room and Mark Knight standing by with Eddie Kingston!"
Knight:"Eddie, you just got done with one match and it's already almost time to head into the next one. And what a match it is as one of you will walk away the new Revolution champion!"
Kingston:"That last joker who walked around with the Revolution belt was nothing more than a cheap immitation. Right here, you're looking at the real deal! I grew up fighting for everything I ever got and I'm not about to stop now. Respect is earned, it isn't handed over, especially to a guy like me. Tyler Black, hurt or not, he's gonna bring it. This is about heart and desire. We both got it. Now we find out who has more! There's only room at the top for one man, and that man is Eddie Kingston!"
Knight:"Both competitors are geared up and ready. Right now, let's take a special look at Brent Albright before tonight's main event."
A video is shown of a serene forest from a vantage point on top of a mountain. The camera pans around and Brent Albright stands stoicly surveying the scene. A voice-over plays over the video.
Albright:"Sometimes a man's greatest enemy is himself. Sometimes his own self-doubt clouds his better judgement and he lashes out in desperation. Sometimes a man has to re-invent himself to overcome adversity. This is what I've done. I have been to the top of the mountain once, and I was kicked back down. I was told the 'creative team' just didn't have anything for me. I was forced to witness the self-destruction of the man who had become my mentor. And I began to doubt myself. I began to sabatoge my own success. I know this now, and the evolution of Brent Albright continues. It is now time for the world to know the REAL Brent Albright. I am The Cream of the Crop and the cream always rises to the top!"
Lo Down Eddie Kingston beat Tyler Black to claim the Revolution championship.

Black hobbled to the ring, but once the bell rang he was all business and came out fighting. Kingston took control when Tyler threw him into the ropes and went for a leapfrog. Black's injured knee buckled and Kingston scored a near fall with a backdrop driver. Tyler fought his way back into the match and nearly scored the win himself with a superkick, but Kingston got his foot on the bottom rope to break the pin. Finally the injury was too much for Tyler to overcome and Kingston hit the Backfist to the Future for the win.
After the bout Kingston helped Tyler to his feet and the referee awarded Kingston the Revolution championship belt. Tyler walked over and raised Eddie's hand before hobbling to the locker room with the referee's assistance.
D-Lo Brown hit the ring to celebrate with his new protege, and was joined by several fans who hopped the barrier to congratulate the new champ.
Chris Hero looked on from the entrance and shook his head in disbelief. He lamented that the title should be his right now and claimed that it would be soon enough. Kingston saw Hero out of the corner of his eye and climbed to the second buckle to display the belt for Hero to see before giving him the D-Lo head bobble and flipping him off as the fans roared in approval. Hero was ushered to the back by security and the new champ's celebration continued as the show ended.
